Fighting to the bitter end is an advantage when your opponent does not wish to perish.

That's almost what I think every time I hear "yeesh" as a replacement for "yes."

Yeah, I know where it comes from. Still think it's one of the dumbest things I've ever heard in my life.

I laughed hard at Majicka's link. It totes reminds me of the Cooking by the Book (Lil' Bigger Mix) that I'm practically banned from playing in my wife's presence.

EDIT: The one from Aesop Rock was pretty sweet too. I'm gonna have to listen to these. Need something new after Punk Goes Pop and Punk Goes Crunk.

EDIT2: Check out the FFVII remixes too.

Hate: bowling from 9 until after midnight. It was fun but damn it reminds me why I don't go out with people I don't know, especially when they're women. Why is it they're so damned catty?

Like: not having to turn on the ac, those thunderstorms were good for something yesterday.

Hate: Feeling guilty for having a crush on another chick while I'm involved.

I LOVE that! I've been looking for something like that for a while; a lot of universities put up courses online (MIT has an amazing selection, if I recall correctly), but I don't always want to sit through an hour long lecture to get the information. Itty bitty videos like that are perfect. Thank you thank you!

Also like: My computer is purring sweetly and I haven't had a BSOD from her since I put in the new RAM.

I've got a great recipe for lemon meringue pie.

I've been going through their little practice map for fun, it's actually quite addicting and I've completed quite a few modules so far but it's only the most basic stuff since I want to go through the whole tree.

Racking up badges- got 45,000 points, lol.

I think it's going to be a good learning tool for my cousin.

B-badges!? *preens the website*

Holy camolie! I thought it just had all the minilectures, which were useful enough on their own. I am really looking forward to this now. ACCOUNT: CREATED.

Right now the practice programs only cover K-12 and Pre-Calc, but they have been and plan on expanding the programs more and more, so I have been filling out the tree in my free time to rack up points and badges until it gets to the stuff I want.

Besides it never hurts to brush up on the basics.

shit son, I'm jumping on that khan thing.

I'd been perusing AcademicEarth and the Podcasts for awhile now, but solid lectures beyond the introductory level are simply too rare.

'course, K12 isn't exactly good either, but wherever there are badges, there I will also be
