Vad Wrote:Hate: Teresa got killed =( Do you know anything about the books? I haven't read them yet, but I know one thing. I should not even spoiler alert this, but JUST IN CASE someone somehow is oblivious to the calling card of that series... [spoiler]Every character is going to die. Every one of them. At some point or another. Just assume that each episode is your favorite character's last.[/spoiler] That's if they go anywhere near what I know of the books though.

Like: The talk of Diablo 3 coming to consoles.
Even if the controls suck (which with Blizzard, I doubt it will be a rushed port), it's good to see the company getting back into the console market. [SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Coming back? Was Blizzard ever in the console business? (honest question here)

They started off in the console business. They planned to return with Starcraft: Ghost, but it NEVER FREAKING HAPPENED.

Really? What games? Oldest I recall (that I personally played) is Diablo and to some extent Warcraft 2.

I hate my roommate. He's quite possibly the biggest tool I've ever met in college.
Ugh. Quote:Vad's Whimsical Whimsicalisms: Men. Good stuff there. ![]() Nobody can go back and start a new beginning, but anyone can start today and make a new ending. Ashe Wrote:Do you know anything about the books? Finished the show last night. Only one person in the main group died. I must say after I learned who Teresa was and following those episodes the opening had much more impact on me. [SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Leo Wrote:Coming back? Was Blizzard ever in the console business? (honest question here) Nope, but Darth Kotick really wants them to get on that ball. He loves him some console games, apparently they're a real money making machine. ![]() So, does anyone else get the feeling Diablo 3 is going to probably be a huge disappointment? :/ Leo Wrote:Really? I do know there were a few, though, like Lost Vikings and such. ![]() Bra Wrote:People are dumb, essentially.

Also, they made Death of Superman for snes.
I dunno. I pretend they aren't part of activision, simply because Blizzard is like my favorite corporation ever. It's a true underdog story. Just like dodgeball. ='0 [SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

I think Blizzard used to be cool. But most of those cool people have left and gone to other companies now. I decided they were evil when Starcraft II was region locked, screwed over the e-sports crowd (no LAN as a deliberate decision) and was being released as three separate games for a total of, over here, £120.

Well, to be fair, people used LAN as a way to bypass blizzard and get free copies of Starcraft/diablo/warcraft, because it was a way to bypass there bnet check. I wouldn't be suprised if LAN started to die out just for that reason. Or at least companies tried to phase it out. Also, Starcraft 2 is already just as long as most rts. As for the locking regions, I don't have a defense for that. But, I love Chris Metzen. He's funny, he's a good story creator (if baised, horde ftw), and he's not a eyesore. Plus, they are one of the few companies that has the money/manpower to make sure no game they have is failz. I mean. Starcraft 2 got good reviews, sure diablo 3 will be the same. They are coming out with a new mmo, which will most likely be groundbreaking. Then, they are ALSO working on a new ip entirely. <3 my Blizzard. Edit: Like Fable (2 and 3 are okay. Image related.)
