The war of attrition was getting closer and closer. There were still more mafia out there, but how many? One more? Two more? Could the demons be mafia? Perhaps Shen, silently stalking in the background, or LeBlanc, called the Deceiver by many. Soraka had been quite active, as had Lee Sin and Karthus. Finally, there rested Zilean and Kayle, two of their supports with very little to say, waiting in the background for the perfect moment to assist.

The following team fight became one massive blur, with damage and abilities being thrown in every direction without regard for who they might strike. Cho’gath finally took a risk, his enormous maw enveloping Karthus entirely before swallowing him. It took a moment, but a small shadowy figure appeared next to him before cackling with glee. “Looks like I win, fools! ALL SHALL PERISH!” he screamed before he began channeling his strongest spell without contention…

“Zil, ult now!” someone called, but before they could even send the command to the chat, the announcer informed them that Zilean had just been slain. Everyone stood near each other as the long sky lasers began to grow stronger on them, counting down to their impending doom…

Leo has been slain by the mafia! He was Zilean, the Father of Time! He was a townsperson with the ability to use Chronoshift, a One Time Use ability for a Day action that would save someone from a lynch vote and end that day, revealing the role on use. Sadly, he was executed before choosing to use it.

Rose, the summoner controlling Cho’gath, has eaten Sigfried! Sigfried was Karthus, a character with the dual ability of Death Defied / Requiem. When he dies, he will automatically contribute +3 lynch votes to all players in the following Day phase, which will allow the possibility of multiple lynches due to multiple "majorities". Additionally, he can continue to post for one day after he dies and can still vote during that time period. A very powerful character who becomes more of a threat as the game grows longer. His alignment is hidden until his presence in the game is no longer felt.

Made a hard call to kill Karthus, but it seems Sigfried was telling the truth so it was right to kill him - one more day and it'd be a guaranteed apocalypse with everyone dead.

So, today's gonna be tricky. If we want to avoid killing multiple townies, we need to keep our lynch votes concentrated. I expect the mafia will try to kill multiple townies.

Going by roles that players themselves have revealed and which have not been claimed by any other, Piper and Vad are either Shen or LeBlanc. Personally, I think Vad is LeBlanc, the last mafia. Shen's ability is almost certainly some kind of doctor thing for his shield, whereas it would make sense for LeBlanc to have some kind of evidence-planting type ability.

I've had a gut feeling since the conclusion of the last day that either Piper of Vad are mafia. Could be both. I'm leaning more towards Vad. Piper's still suspicious though.

You could have done that anyways. The idea is to SLAUGHTER ALL who haven't been CONFIRMED as a townsperson in a glorious wave of destruction.

I want to make a rules clarification here. If a victory is had by one alignment or another, and Karthus is in his 24 hour state of undeath and also fits that alignment (As in if Karthus is mafia and the mafia gain a win, or if he is town and the town wins), then yes, he will be part of that victory. However, he is not able to be a sole victory condition in himself.

In other words, if every person dies, then Karthus will not "win" for any side, because he is still dead for that purpose. Similar to LoL in that if you ace their team, yes, Karthus can still fight back and help achieve a victory, but if he's the only defense, you just walk around him and continue on the Nexus. If his ult kills your team, then that sucks, but while dead he can't then beat on your own Nexus for the final hits.

Someone from the town will have to entirely survive the day's transition if you guys are looking to close it out this Day phase.
