I just pre-ordered it from Amazon. The ad on the TVs in Gamestop actually convinced me to buy something. Stupid advertising.
It looks pretty sweet. I played a filmnoire-style detective in high school, and I hope this brings back some pleasant memories of the times. For example, I got to make out with 2 different girls on stage...every night. Oh those good memories.

So far, it's a lot of fun. I've made it through the Traffic cases, and am now onto Homicide. Those guys better watch out: Kole is coming to arrest/shoot them in the face.

I've avoided a lot of collateral damage on the road to the homicide department, but now I'm shooting for top cop a la The Other Guys. So I'm going to put the grill of a T-Model Ford through someone's face.

I just made Homicide, but am going back because I didn't get a good enough rating (in my opinion) on the last Traffic Case. MUST BE PERFECT COP.

Haha, my problem too. I"m still in Traffic and I screwed up my last case, getting only two stars. I refuse to continue until I right that wrong.

Maybe it's because I'm sick, but I'm making some terrible judgement calls in my latest case. This game really rewards slowing down and paying attention. And even though I'm getting vexed at all my lost opportunities, I can't stop playing the damn game.
