Yeah, I think I'm screwed. I can't log on most of the time and when I do, I'm waaaaay underground in an all white zone with various floating mobs around. I can walk, but not jump, and I can't kill myself to get out, so at best I'm out another diamond pick >.> and at worst I'm stuck

OK so... From what I can tell, we've all been having issues with logging in, staying logged in, and such.
I tried deleting the current map (backed up) and starting a brand new one. A few of us were able to stay connected to that map longer than on the other one in the past week.
Something is wrong with the old map, and I have no idea what.
It keeps giving "Internal Exception: java.net.SocketTimeoutException: Read Time Out" error.
I really, really, really don't want to clear the current map, but I'm at a loss here.
Edit: Ignore that past edit, shit's still broken.

We should wait until the new patch before we decide anything.

Oh I'm not gonna decide anything like that until a new patch comes out, I'm just letting everyone know my though process.
I'm really hoping a new patch will fix this somehow, but if not, the game is basically not playable for people right now with the current map.
Though what might be the issue, I might have to bump the size of the server up some and limit people from going out any farther than we currently do. Could be just too much is being used for the server.

Well, I mean, I would be sad to lose my stuff (and I'm sure others would be MUCH MUCH MORE sad to lose theirs) I mean... New beginnings might be nice. IF it comes down to that.
We could do a new EXCITING SEED. All the newer people won't conflict with the older people because We'll have established territories and junk.
I'm definitely not saying scrap this map, I'm just saying that it might not be SO bad.

Randomly, I was free and kicking around and such, then I logged in a few ago and I'm back underground in the gray zone for some reason. Silly bugged minecarts.
Have to say, regarding starting over I have relatively little time invested. I'd feel bad for Waff though. The Subway and the Pyramid...ugh

If the game stays buggy and the new patch isn't out soonish, I'm probably going to back up the map, restart the server on full creative (everyone being able to spawn items and such) until it gets fixed then switch us back.
What's everyone's opinions on that? Since currently we're unplayable.

This new patch is way bugged.
I guess they are working on more bug fixing though, sounds like a lot of things got rewritten for this patch and obviously created problems.
