I dunno. I just wants to play my free copy of Black Ops. Never played a Call of Duty game, so apparently I have been living in a cave :/

black ops is okay. it improved on mw2 in a couple of ways: "diving" to prone while running, multiplayer maps flow better, and using earned game points to unlock weapons/attatchments is definitely better than grinding through X number of kills

but somehow it still looks and feels inferior to mw2.

wtf: 2001-A Space Odyssey. I'm supposed to like this film, but what the fuck? The last 30 minutes of the film makes no fucking sense. It's like a piece of art in a museum that just sits there, and requires a scroll-like plaque to ensure you that, no really, the artist wasn't just vomiting mental impressions on a page, on plastic, on porcelain, that there IS meaning there, and it IS worth it to get at that meaning.

I'm not convinced. I think I just wasted two hours of my time. The bit with HAL was pretty cool, but it's hardly a ground-breaking analysis of the conflict between artificial intelligence and natural intelligence.

The cinematography was good, as always with Kubrick. That's a plus. But jesus. I want two hours of my life back.

Fucking Stonewall posted this video on the LoL forums and I can't stop laughing and singing it. Its a total "WTF am I watching?" video but its very catchy. The Finnish version is funny as well but the English version is what got me singing it.

For me it's those people that act like you having a lack of cited knowledge on a subject means that THEIR viewpoint is automatically right by default.

Like my uncle, who is absolutely convinced that every single Muslim is actually an extremist that wants to destroy America. I'm not even using hyperbole - he's really tried to convince me of this. When I tried to tell him that that was ridiculous, he spouted some silly statistics (don't remember exactly what, this was a few years ago) from some report. Wouldn't hear a word otherwise because I "couldn't prove it wrong."
