Your Worst Champion
#1
Go on, tell everyone the champ you just can't seem to play right. Perhaps even give some tips to help all of us out on our less than stellar champions.

For me, it's Twisted Fate. Fucking colors, how do they work?

Singed. Fucking poison, how does it work?

(I know what I'm SUPPOSED to do, I guess I just prefer chasing to being chased =P He's totally at odds with my playstyle)

Kassadin. I try to figure out what exactly you're supposed to do with him, but guides have conflicting info even on filling the same role and imo he's the least intuitive of all of them

@ Rose Yeah Singed is a tricky one. He's really good at just fucking up teams in general, and being impossible to kill. Basically, what you have to do is be chased while chasing. For example, turn on poison, run at X champ, slow them just enough so they can barely get out of it while you catch up, throw them back into the slow, stay ahead of wherever X champ is running. Your poison is the bulk of your damage (obviously) so you just want to make sure that they are always inside it. The best way is to run in front of them as they run. That way they stay in poison if they run forward or backward so it limits their escape possibilities. If they get out of poison, throw slow then flip and repeat.

@ Trig I'm not very familiar with Akali, but I know Tales used to main her for a long time. I'll ask him and see what's up.

@ Rafael http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x0qi3nRlqv4 From what I know of Kass, he's ALL about positioning. You mainly want to stay out of fights until you can jump in with R > E > Q and death then jump back out. He's all about being unable to target because he isn't in the fight long enough (but still does a boatload of damage). I'm bad at Kass too, but I haven't tried him in a long time.

He's unintuitive because he plays almost completely opposite of how Riot originally designed him to play. He's supposed to be able to jump onto casters and rock their worlds. His ratios and survivability are so good, though, that people started building him as a nuke assassin and, guess what, it was way better than what was originally intended.

But yeah, like most assassins, he relies on judgment and position more than anything else. Knowing when to jump in, when to jump out, and how much damage you can do/take are what he's all about.

My worst champion is probably Singed. His playstyle is designed to be one of disengagement, really. He's about running in, tossing, and then just poisoning people and being annoying. He's like a passive version of Alistar. I have such an active playstyle that he just doesn't work for me. At all.

Well, I see the vids, and regardless, he's just fucking hard. I can never get a solid start, and endgame the payoff is so much less than Veigar's that I don't think he's worth using, but, I've seen those unbelievably powerful Kassadin's and I need to get there. W/L ratio, I almost had you even finally, but I must investigate this strange power. I know it's there

You shouldn't play stealth champions, Orion. You're way too crazy for stealth.

When laning as Shen (as most do) you want to avoid using your Q to strictly last hit. Instead, you want to land it so that your next auto attack will kill it. That way you're last hitting while also restoring health so you can stay in lane longer. When it comes to his dash, it's really a matter of patience (I'm still working on this and I basically main him). Don't just dash into fights because you can. Instead, wait for an opportune moment to dash several people at once, or when somebody is channeling a big spell (Kat, Malz, MF, Nunu, etc). Shen's ult is just a matter of map awareness. If playing with pubs, ask them to ping when in trouble. When playing with friends, just... say something. Please.

I'm bad with Shaco so I can't help you there Orion.

I play a pretty successful Shaco but nowhere near perfect. I run 9/0/21 usaully, because I need the CDR and mana reg on Shaco as I usually give blue away. I run armor penetration red, CDR blue, armor seals and experimenting with armor penetration quints or health quints. Haven't really decided what's best yet. Generally you want armor penetration for your more "exotic" junglers, the more non-safe ones. They tend to have some sort of physical attack where armor penetration really comes into play. This includes junglers like Lee Sin, Olaf (blue with Q + ARP runes <333) and most likely Nocturne, though I haven't tried this personally. A case could be made for Yi, since aspeed could be better with his passive double swing but the arp makes him hit harder, so there's probably some mathcrafting involved there. Anyway, my Shaco:

To start off, the most effective way (or at least the most guaranteed effective way) is Jungle Shaco. There are different jungle routes with Shaco and finding some wont be hard, but the key is to remember that before you get a buff or a level, your jungling blows monster suck. You get box first and you stack it near your starting point. My personal route is to start at golem, but sadly 9/10 leashing will fuck you in the ass and everyone wants to leash golem. EVERYONE. The lizards run faster than Golem but aggro at the same time and thusly the lizards will usually pop your boxes, but if you stacked enough boxes they'll die quick enough and your boxes will be able to get in enough shots on Golem so you can smite it. Pick Shiv (E), it gives you a blinding chance that helps with the jungling (go for the big guy so he misses most of his attacks).

Now you can take wolves, then golems and about here you ding level 3. If you want an early gank (most lanes will have flash anyway, so I find it a waste to get lizard, but there's a route for that) you pick Deceive and gank a lane that's overextended or one where they're in a good position to gank. Like often in top lane, people will go into the brush at the river in order to place a ward further down and cover half of both entrances. If you pop a box there and your teammate is in on it, that little fear usually means death for the person and fb.

I used to be pretty decent with him when I was lower levels, but now I positively suck with Master Yi. I can never seem to accomplish anything with him.

Kaden's a good Master Yi, I'm sure he could give a few pointers.

Master Yi is so gear dependent. Your power in a fight jumps dramatically with a couple of core items. I run him jungle, so the big boosts for me come with the completion of Wriggles, then 'zerkers, and Ghostblade is the big one.

With the Master, it's mostly about watching for cooldowns. You're pretty squishy outside of Meditate, so you need to know which cooldowns will rock your world and which you know you can just dodge with Alpha Strike. Veigar is a good example. If you see him blow his ult on someone, you charge him like a bat out of hell. Wait on Alpha until he drops the cage, then Strike through it and rock his world. Stuff like that.

EDIT: I said he's really gear dependent, but really early levels (3~5) he does a lot of damage between Alpha Strike and activated Wuju Style, which is what makes him such a solid ganker.

Twisted Fate. At this point, I feel terrible about picking him because I feel as if I'm just trolling my team if I do. In close competition, Tryndamere and Sion are on there.
