Changed to livestream because it's better. I'll see if I can get it to stream with no lag in time for the match tomorrow. If I can't then I won't.

You can also try out own3d.tv if you want, they have a beta on the xsplit software that they use, so it should still be free. I tried it out earlier, could broadcast well on a high quality, but my upload sucks so it was a bit choppy. Was very easy to get going though.

The livestream is fantastic, and works without a hitch. Unfortunately, I figured out how to get my voice to work, so you'll be hearing me in the streams. Big Grin

I'll stream the match in 3 hours. If you wanna watch the pros at work, go ahead and watch us. I'll post in the chatbox when we're going to start.

Kay so we did it and we won so yeah. However I had to close the stream at the end because Steam started updating a game. I'll have to close that next time I stream.

It's been amazing until like a month ago, then it just decides to fuck up for no reason. I've done virus scans, looked through programs I recently downloaded, nothing. Technology just hates me.

It's harder for a computer to run a game when its windowed. Uses more resources.

EDIT: So if your lag is caused by your computer and not your network connection (which is what you said last night) taking steps to reduce the amount of resources required to run the game should reduce any lag.

How much uninstalling and installing do you do, Doe? Each time you uninstall a program (especially third party ones and some main stream games) they leave their file extensions in the registry which bogs it down. Cleaning the registry of unused keys with any number of programs I can suggest will help. Also you may not have viruses or Trojans, but ad clickers can lag your machine as well. Get spybot search and destroy, run that scan, and see what it finds. If nothing we move on to other possibilities.

E: If you absolutely need help running the program I can walk you through it on Mumble if you wish.
