Weird. THE ELDER SCROLLS is the phrase being protected. SCROLLS isn't. Bethesda arguing otherwise is reckless and has me ashamed to have named my 85 Rogue after them.

Gotta say, it's INCREDIBLY stupid of them to do this from a PR point of view. I hope they fire whoever's decision it was once the backlash gets to the point of them inevitably issuing an apology.

I don't think so. If it were me at Bethesda, I'd say it was a misunderstanding and make some gesture of good will towards Natch, which will probably just have them coming out with the ordeal looking better. It's an easy spin.

At the very least, there's the old axiom "there's no such thing as bad press."
