She started the phone call saying 'I'm sorry, I can't remember your name,' which was kinda awkward, since I'm her nephew and while we haven't exactly been close or anything, I figured you try to remember family names.

Come to find out over the course of the conversation, she thinks I'm my mother's fiancee. Awkward times were had. 'I'm so glad Penny has found you, she deserves someone special.'

I do this to relatives every once in a while when they try to add me to Facebook. "Who?" You know, I'm your cousin so-and-so. "...who?" Sorry, but if I've seen you exactly one time or less my entire life you just don't count.
