So, I call dibs on a village when they come out. Gonna build a fort all around it, and farm melons and pumpkins. Also think I'm going to remake my zoo, but leave a single open space for firing arrows and thus farming chunks of xp.

Someone suggested moving the spawn in order to create 1.8 chunks. Move it someplace away from the 'known world'.

If you start at a single point and move in a straight line, it would take you about a year of constant playing to get to the edge of the map.

I can't log into Minecraft for some odd reason. I can play offline, but if I try going online, it straight up says "Login failed" and gives me no reason. Anyone else had this?

They have been having tons of issues with minecraft.net. I'd guess that you were connecting during one of their problem times. Servers don't handle those sudden influxes of traffic no matter how much you work on load balancing.

Endermen=no so rare. Just had 4 of them standing next to each other getting pwnt by my leet 2 block high cave. Still scare the shit out of me though. They like to disappear and then randomly show up like 5 min later, and given the nature of my current house that's dangerous.
