Gonna have to say, given the season, Pumpkin Xerath seems like a super obvious choice. Orange, pumpkiny exterior, instead of arcane laser innards, pulp. For Mage Chains, change the projectile into a pumpkin, change his W into vines instead of arcane energy thingies, for his ult, make a pumpkin grow and explode super fast, and...yeah, Q.

I am torn when it comes to Shaco. I find it fun to play him, and his jungle route is pretty simple.

Unfortunately, I can't seem to win a game as him.

It is hilarious to leave boxes and have them rip through 1/3 to half a champions health, though. If only I could hit that troll level where I set like, three boxes, and some dumb squishy is fortunate enough to pass by them. I haven't had that level of amusement from him, yet.

You should also try building her straight AP, like I did in that one game we played yesterday (I think you were there, Weemus, but maybe you weren't...Idda know). I won mid lane against a Ryze.

It's fun to max your tornado first. Makes farming a breeze (GET IT? GET IT?!!?)

I always go max AP Janna. Everything is lie, so cash when she does it max AP styley.

Ive nnever mid with janna, buts just about the only situation Id wanna max nado first. I usually grab one rank of it for level one and then max zephyr, mainly because the tornado is so damn easy to dodge. Zephyr can also end up doing hella damage, plus the slow is great for team fights and escapes n shit.

Just roll around with a teammate or two pressing buttons and helping folks out, and timing power chords with W or E up at the right time can be extremely useful. It's a style I quite enjoy!

AAAAAArgh I hate Xerath. He's a mage, but fails at every good part of being one as far I'm concerned while having no awesome.

He's just my playstyle, I guess. I enjoy his almost-spam, and his range is incredibly cool. I've had a lot of really fun moments where I have finished off people in bushes where they thought they were safe, and if you're smart about positioning you can do some great AoE damage as well as have a solid stun (or two if the fight goes long enough!).

The real issue with him is avoiding getting left behind because of your W, or getting stuck in a bad position with it. Otherwise the only problem you'll have is getting targeted by people with jumps and shit, or bursty mages you let get in too close.

And, as per Anzekay, countered by anyone with a decent gap closer. Nocturne rips his shit UP. If they play Xerath way behind in teamfights and he's dominating, just need a second initiation on his ass. The interesting weakness provided by Xerath is that he requires his team's teamfights to be pointed in a particular direction. Whereas squishies are on one side and tanks are on another and teamfights tend to have a direction anyway, Xerath, because he sticks farther out, makes that direction much more concrete. If the other team can capitalize on that lack of flexibility with some crazy mobility (give me Akali, give me Nocturne, give me Rock Solid's approach in the last few tourneys), he's straight fucked.

Veigar's far from shit. He's the best anti-mage in the game and his cage can be absolutely devastating. He's not a go-to AP carry, no, but that doesn't mean he's a bad champion. And infinite scaling is pretty good, too.

I like the sounds of the Gunblade changes. It gets pretty out-of-control pretty quickly.

Fuck that Skarner and fuck his Ult! Last game I played against him, I swear I got ulted by his ass every time except for twice; The first time he used his ult on Sona, and once when I was dead on a Tryn....
