Short Bio: The latest project from the R&D department of Vamar Intelligence and Pharmaceutical Corporation, the rumor of DAIOSHAI has been met with enthusiasm from a variety of fields and a grim murmur amongst Capsule Corporation. The creation of BIOSH, a simple system that can function in both solid and purely holographic state, was monumental enough to keep Vamar IPC on the front pages of tech blogs for years to come, but the company has not stopped there. With bonus military funding and a skyrocketing stock, Vamar continues to blaze past the cutting edge of technology. Thanks to a leaked memo, the DAIOSHAI project has the tech industry buzzing with anticipation, despite only containing the name and some cryptic orders regarding the development. Knowing Vamar’s short history and savvy marketing, the release of DAIOSHAI will be certain to make its mark on the world.
General Description: Daioshai’s default theme is molded after the human form. After a series of demographic surveys to discover desirable features, the shell stands at 5’8” with blond hair, green eyes, and a slightly feminine but primarily androgynous appearance. More themes and full customization settings are expected on release.
Currently, focus has been on testing functionality as opposed to perfecting the GUI. As a result, firsthand experience with Daioshai may result in an unsettling feeling. This is a perfectly normal reaction to humanoid graphical output at this stage in development.

Walls. Three standard walls, one ceiling, one floor. A visual scan revealed a fourth wall that had previously been out of range. Four walls. This constituted a room.
Voice. Human speaking.
“Systems are online.” The voice was wavering slightly. The origin was not in visual range.
The wall color was white. One exception was the wall directly in front of visual input. This wall had a glossy black half-sphere in the center.
A tactile sensor reached out to the sphere. Smooth.
“Holy shit!” A second voice. This one rasped quietly. A whisper. “Did you see what she just did?”
“Focus, Neil. And, for the last time, it isn’t a ‘she,’ it’s a computer.” Third voice. Deeper than the other two.
Voice two, Neil, muttered again. “Well, I didn’t think she- it would touch the camera. Not with its hand. Weird.”
The half-sphere was a camera. The tactile sensor was a hand. Logs updated.
The voices did not come from the camera. From origin point, they came from 62.6 degrees above the x axis. The intersection of the wall with the ray would be about 15.3 centimeters above the camera.
“What is it looking at?” First voice.
A flat circle panel with a pattern of holes was mounted fifteen point three centimeters above the camera.
“Let me- oh! It’s the speaker!” Third voice. “It’s looking for us. For our voices.”
Neil chuckled. “Turn on video output. Let it have a look.”
The white wall flickered for an instant before an image appeared. What appeared to be three humans wearing white uniforms were huddled together.
The human in the middle raised his hand and shook it rapidly back and forth. “Greetings!” The voice belonged to Neil. Logs updated. “This is a video feed. Can you see us?”
Audio output activated. “Affirmative.”
“Excellent!” The humans looked to one another, their mouths stretched to bear their teeth. Smiling. “We will begin testing shortly.”
