My philosophy is usually.... NEVER GIVE UP! NEVER SURRENDER!!!!!! Some one has to die the most times.... may as well be.... <_< >_> Wait for it....

Surrendering at 20 needs to stop. If people intend to actually get better at this game instead of just playing games that they are going to win all the time (thus learning nothing), then stop getting the attitude of "This game is fucking over, surrender". Even if we are down by 10 kills and have gotten no turrets to their 5 or 6, there is still something that can be learned from the game if people would just play more defensively, WARD, and focus properly.

If on the other hand you just want to play when you are almost certain to win, then fine, I'll solo queue.

The few times that I actually played jungler, that tends to be the hardest part. Reading that jungler priority guide really helped a lot (until I couldn't play LoL anymore anyway foreveralone).

Sometimes it's a matter of just having to make a call and, either way, someone loses out and you'll probably cop the blame if, in hindsight, you made the slightly wrong decision.

What I do (since I rarely jungle) is play as though there isn't a jungler at all, for the most part. I focus on the lane as an isolated instance and just work with what's there.

Of course, I do watch the map and (usually) see when someone's coming to help me with a gank, but instead of focusing on the jungler I just focus on myself. I feel like it helps to keep me from becoming too dependent on someone else's play.

Something that needs to be done more is the gank-from-mid-lane. Since mid is usually played by a champion with high burst, it's really easy for them to burst down a wave, back up into the fog, and then show up at bot for a quick gank attempt before heading back to lane. Puts added pressure on the enemy team and gives the jungler some extra slack to work with.

This is typically how I play when I'm top, unless I'm 1v2 against some super nasty combo that I am truely going to need help with. Just farm the best I can, harass to set up a fight I can win, and if I get a kill either keep farming, go B, or go gank mid. Number 1 priority is to keep my tower alive so I can continue to farm for as long as I want, though.
