So I pulled out the Drunken Jungle Xin last night... after everyone but Alex abbondonned me. The first game was pretty fucked up... And we still managed to win. I think we won with me and Alex not even having any kills at all lol.

Alex must have ripped his eyeballs out because hje vanished without a goodbye or an I love you or even a fuck you.

The Akali from that game added me and wanted me to play with them... so..... I continued with my Drunken Jungle Xin. Well we lost that game and of course we all know who was blamed =D

I was feeling Brazen and stupid so..... Round 3! I jumped in with 4 more pugs... It was clear I was going to jungle... had Smite and all... it was even said in Chat and all. Well Shaco on our team seemed to have missed the subtleties all together because he runs into my jungle and tries to ping me to go bottom.

We had to spell it out that I had smite, I was jungling. He gets pissed off and runs to the enemies teams blue. and proceeds to do some weird shit. I get blamed by him the rest of the game.

And the other just sucked tooo...

So I hate tanking for pugs. No matter what, it is your fault they lost the game, even though they don't itemize correctly.

The enemy team had two madreds bloodrazors on their ADs. We had a Sion and a Riven with Warmogs who just got melted every time. They yelled at me for not getting a Warmogs on Rammus. Despite the fact that the enemy team had a LeBlanc, we had no magic resist items on anyone except me. I got yelled at for getting a thornmail against a team with a Yi and a Vayne. I also got yelled at for trying to get the Nasus away from the squishies.

I'm never tanking again for pugs. I'd rather wait five minutes than deal with that shit.

It's just not the right item on Rammus tbh. You can get just as much as health with the right collection of tank items as opposed to health pool items. Honestly, Warmogs should not be present on any tank except for Tanky dps and they are buliding an Atma's right after. Honestly, Warmogs should not be present on any tank except for Tanky dps and they are buliding an Atma's right after. I'm not a fan of Warmogs in general, however, I want to point out that armor and MR have diminishing returns. You get more EHP from stacking those until in the 250 range but after that you want to get more health (items like Sunfire Cape are great for this).

To be fair, though, Rammus gets high armor/MR without items. Given his kit, he gets more pure survival from HP.

That said, I still wouldn't get Warmog's on Rammus. It just sounds silly.

Armor and MR re only good a certain point. The degree of diminishing returns really makes it not as worth it sometimes. Even on teams with a lot of AP I'll just grab a Force of Nature and then stack health (unless they have a caster that's just tearing everyone apart, obv.) Unless I'm playing Malphite, one or maybe two good armor item is usually good enough too.

After a a bit of armor, I usually find that health and other things take priority, even as a tank. Unless there's other effects that you're getting with the armor item that you NEED, I'd go for health.

But, the thing that I want to point out for a Warmogs is that I just don't see Rammus or other tanks getting enough farm to really justify it? I mean, you should be leaving big farm waves to your carries, and there really isn't a terrible lot of chilling out and last hitting being done by the time you get one as a tank unless you rushed one, but there's not a lot of reason to rush a warmogs as a tank, IMO.

I could almost see Warmog's justifiable on Galio, at least, since he farms extremely well. Similar tanks, etc. That said, I'm still not a fan of the item pretty much ever and I'm not actually saying I'd get it on Galio.
