Water - Fizz
Heart - Miss Fortune

Some awesome stuff. Spell Vamp and Lifesteal from Masteries? Yes please. I also really like the tower-based Masteries; some cool stuff could be done there, I think. I'm also a huge fan of the on-assist bonuses. Great idea.

So yeah, looking forward to playing around with that stuff.

I strongly second this post... with the exception of Miss Fortune in the role of planeteer Heart Sad. Maybe someone like Soraka or Sonna is better fit. Of course this is completely disregarding a viable team comp. lol

No one's brought up the fact that the xp masteries have been dropped so low on the tree. Looks like it'll be a bitch to try and jungle without dropping all your points into the damn support tree, instead of just 9 or 10.

Edit: Actually I just found out they're upping the xp from jungle creeps to make it so junglers don't need the xp mastery. Fantastic.

I wouldn't be surprised if we saw details for a re-envisioning of the jungle soon.

The Utility tree looks like it will still be totally worth taking if you're not sure where you want your points to go.

The jungle rework has been in progress for quite a while now. Guinsoo tweets about it on a semi-regular basis. I'm looking forward to seeing what they come out with.

Right, exactly as it is now. Who can argue with 15% reduction on summoner spells, or CDR? EVERYONE benefits from that.

Mastery changes in general are just fantastic, I honestly can't find anything to complain about other than wanting them to be better, but perfection is hard you'know?

Some of the items and champions are named after designers of the game.

Some examples: Udyr (Udyr, producer), Morello's Evil Tome (Morello, Lead Champion Designer), Guinsoo's Rageblade (Guinsoo, Game Designer), Shurelya's Reverie (Shurelia, former Game Designer), etc. There are more.

I'm very excited for the upcoming patch, it's one of the ones I actually look forward to. League of Legends as we know it is going to be completely different in season two, that's the type of shake up that should be happening in a MOBA.

As usual, I'm very happy with the approach Riot takes to their game. These masteries and changes show that they've learned a lot about their game since its original form and its great to see that experience get utilized.
