Surrendering

OK. I understand that some people like to surrender easily.

In a ranked game, you should never surrender, in my opinion.

First, and most importantly, you give up on the game. Or to your team it sounds like it. It even gives the team an edge mostly. It's called morale. It's a bitch.

Second, you pull up that section that CAN hinder you from pulling off something.

Third, things can happen. "See, that is why towers own kills"- Taken from Tryg himself. We were down by over 10 kills... but aking more towers...and using towers to the advantage... turned the game around.

All it takes is... ONE mistake.... to change a game.

I get blamed for it.... I have heard attempts from blames for it(Meaning... Someone started hollering.... but then has to bite their tongue when it worked and pretty much won us the game...)

But the surrendering needs to stop... Especially in Ranked... And should try to be cut down in even normals...

You can always learn from an experience. You cant learn if you never had it.

Giving up on the game usually means I'm not having fun with this anymore. When you're not having fun anymore in a game and things just seem to not go your way at all then surrendering is fine. Most places you'll encounter surrendering is in trolololo queue anyway, and in trolololo queue people surrender because either they are getting trolled or they're trolling. I don't see it ever stopping.

I do agree, when it comes to ranked, that its not over till nexus explodes, but... honestly... I do entirely feel that its a waste of breath at this point to argue it. No one is going to really change their stance.

Barring the fact that I haven't been around lately I probably have no place in this thread, but I just want to state that every "gamer" has a different background. Someone like me or Tim who ( I'm guessing) experienced hardcore camping and griefing in our early years of WoW have a much higher tolerance than someone who hasn't. It's about tolerance. That's all this boils down to.

Me and him can easily just let it slide that we're losing 5 kills to 50. We've experienced it before. We move on and just accept it. My advice to all of us as a concerned third party is that we find a happy medium between the different types of gamers we have playing this game on Chubbs.

This problem is no ones fault. It happens when so many different types of gamers mesh together to play a PvP oriented game.

It hasn't been a problem in the last few weeks, far as I've seen. Surrender votes happen, sometimes they go through, sometimes they don't, and no one really bitches. Which is why this topic is a bit weird.

Which is why the sudden pointed-at-me is a bit weird.
