I do think that their rationale of 'oh you can counter crit chance with armor' is silly. Someone with 300 attack damage, 100% crit change, and bonus crit damage doesn't care how much armor you have.

They start caring when you have Thornmail and/or Frozen Heart.

EDIT: Despite the phrasing, the point was that there are counters to crit chance that are already in the game and that already work pretty well. That's not the case with dodge.

A couple of times they talked about not really noticing dodge other than when you survive that last hit that should have killed you... I'm one of those people that never noticed it. Even with Nimbleness. I don't know how I constantly missed it, but Jax was the only character where it was ever apparent to me.

I have noticed it. I use to notice A LOT with Jax.

I have had a few encounters... where it was quite the opposite of what you said.

I had one game, at least, that a guy asked how much dodge I had, because he hardly landed a single hit. I want to say another chubbsian witnessed him saying it.

But Dodge, especially early game... can be a big deal. You know how you can lose to minions with ease trying to go for that kill at level 1-3 with a wave of 8-10 minions? Imagine dodging over half that damage....

My guess, each Stance stack provides a flat amount of armor. Maybe 8 apiece.

For new runes: lifesteal/spellvamp reds/quints, ap percentage quints, perhaps some type of 'bladed armor' yellow/quints, wealth blues/quints, perhaps a form of tenacity-pen?

I can imagine all sorts of shit they can do with the runes.

EDIT: I'll be very surprised if they don't add percentage ap runes.

I'll have to see the numbers for ricochet before I have an opinion on it. I always like the spell, because I just spammed it non-stop. While I don't know the numbers yet, her passive still sounds underwhelming (it sounds like a shitty version of Vayne's passive), but anything's better than the old one. The added range and buff to her normal stats is fantastic, though.

As for the other stuff: Holy shit, jungle rework. Holy. Shit.

I feel like the jungle rework is going to make jungling too good and quintessential. I mean, as of now, fast junglers can already keep up in level or even level faster than solo lanes. With the newly implemented respawn time junglers who decide to farm all day in their jungles and not gank could possibly get even stronger than they are already as of now. (The Skarner that walks into mid or top lane at level 7 when you're only level 6? Yeah there's going to be more of that and maybe even worse). It seems like they just keep nerfing bot lane, as if 2 or 3 levels behind during the first couple teamfights isn't a big enough deal already. And a separate buff for every camp sounds fucking bogus. I'm really not loving how this patch is looking tbh... It just feels like a huge buff to jungle and other lanes remain basically the same. I think junglers should level as fast as bot lane logically.

It's been mentioned more than once, actually, that the intent is to lower the rewards per-camp. If they were the same, then there is no critical choice for the player. In order to keep up with the current jungle rate-of-XP you need to keep hitting the creep camps without really pausing to go gank.

Creating those choices is the whole point of the remake. Maybe they'll make the XP a bit too high or a bit too low initially (my money is on a bit too low), but that's a testing issue, not a design issue.

The potentially for a wider variety of viable junglers is also pretty awesome. Jungle Maokai rocked faces and he's not one of those "standard" jungle picks.

Banshee's Veil is an item btw and it's sweet. Insta-win against these LeBlancs I've been seeing get super fed every game

Banshee's is just straight-up one of the best defensive items in the game. If a team is running low-cc or big initiation (Amumu/Malphite) then an couple of Bashees fucks everything up.

So good.

For ADs and Damage dealers, getting a QSS is also a good idea if you're getting CC focused out of a fight every time.
