Figured it'd be better for all to just have all of this in the LoL subforum instead of always using the chat box to announce when I'm streaming.

My stream is poor quality until I can get Trygelan to come by and help me set it up. I streamed a Ragnaros raid the other day (where I was VERY sloppy, I must admit - I've had much cleaner kills) but it stopped recording at one hour. Also, it caught my non-vent talking (I didn't do much of it, I was in a pretty bad mood about something unrelated) but kept it very quiet... I'm unsure if that's a volume issue or that I was talking fairly quietly since I didn't want everything to be picked up on vent by my roommate's mic (tends to transmit EVERYTHING I say from across the room, drives me nuts). Unfortunately, it didn't pick up the ventrilo conversation from guildees (which isn't missing much) but it means the recording was deathly silent for the most part, with the occasional in game sound coming through.
I'm going to try to work with Tryg to figure out how to make the quality better and then I should try to stream and record more often.

The streams pick up everything within your mic range, so even if you are just talking it transmits.

No, I want that. But I also want things on vent (it has the "Skype Interaction Enabled" option checked) and in game sound to go through a bit, or at least other talking.

Rofl.
Own3d was having issues earlier, so my stream was only showing up as a black screen with no sound even though I was broadcasting. They got it fixed though, and I was able to record an absolutely hilarious game with Kaaden and Shifo.

Funny thing is, there are. We don't drink beer very much at all (other than the occasional circle of death) but these friends, man. We provide food, and they show up with tons of beer. Even if we had plans of just hanging out without drinking. So now we have this massive case of Bud Light in the fridge taking half a full shelf up and no one wants to drink that nasty shit, and then a shelf full of Killians that another guy left there for when he comes to hang out. Except I'll drink those, if I end up in the right kind of mood.
