Hate: My promotion doesn't actually PAY any more and I might have to adopt a 4pm-midnight schedule (AKA: The "living your fucking life" portion of the day). The only UPSIDE to this promotion is that I will have fairly reliable hours (either 32 or 40 hrs a week). I wouldn't care as much if I didn't want to actually spend time with my girlfriend who's moving across the country to live with me.
Oh, also, the wifi has a security key, which is the most homo thing of all time.
Fucking. RETARDED.

Seems like it, but haven't played him. I used to play him a bit in Tekken and older SC games so I could miss something, but the general move set seems pretty close.

I originally played Yoshimitsu in Tekken 2, and when Tekken 3 came out, that's when SC2 came out. I had already gotten pretty good with Yoshi in Tekken, but it was the first time I'd played SC. I saw him on the roster and was all, "That's weird! He looks like the same character... Oh lol Japan, you cheap, ripping-off sons a bitches" and decided to play him.
He was the exact same character with almost the exact same move list. I stomped with him. Ever since then, Yoshi has been my go-to character in that game. Sadly his move list has changed a lot in Tekken, but he's virtually the same character in SC. I hope they didn't despoil him.

How, exactly, did someone convince you that was a promotion, again? They might just be my new hero.

Yeah, sounds like when someone wanted to make me a shift lead, which basically just makes it way harder to take days off, and you stay longer hours and have to deal with leadership. I declined, despite the "it'll look so much better on the eval for when you...oh yeah, you're getting out."

Welllll it turns out I only have retard hours two days a week and the other ones are at my normal nocturnal times. The pay is more reliable I guess than doing the other stuff. I'm learning that the other positions have not only unreliable hours, but like... not good hours. Like, some weeks no hours at all, which would be totally unacceptable.
I can also be put into higher management positions from here, so Imma count it as a promotion.

If they call it a promotion, it's a very bad idea to decline it.

That's what my idea was, and I'm fairly glad I took it now. The regional manager pulled me aside today and basically said that he want me in charge of middle-upperish management for this area and that I kind of have to do my time in dispatch before I get there.
Either way, I'm just happy that I can put management experience on my applications from now on, even if it does pay for absolute shit.

The Bloodrayne part gets my approval.

$12 an hour is nothing to scoff at.

Hate: Its taken me two days of being at work all night to total up to about 45$ being what I brought home. Not each night. I'm talking about yesterday making around 25$ total after the chefs made 66$ (as a benchmark, they make based on sales so I'm supposed to make around the same as them) and today me making 22$ after they made around 40$ or so off my tables. Fucking tax season, man. People who can't afford to eat out normally are coming in for now and spending big and leaving nothing. Having an increase on attempted walk outs (running out without paying the meal) too during this month, which is expected.
Last night, there were three attempted walk outs on the same large two table party (that thankfully had the gratuity included for the size). The server confronted a few, and they were blatant about it. "Oh, uh, he said he go pay me over there- Where he at? Uh... Oh, hold on, here it is!" He pulled the check, plastic tray and all, out of his pocket, and proceeded to hand it to the server. "How much that is?" Server stares at him, takes the check and reads the number to him, then waits while he counts out enough 1s to cover it. Another lady, who's check stayed sitting in front of her without being moved the entire pay process, got very confrontational when he asked if she was ready to pay. At the TOP OF HER LUNGS, she started screaming "I PAID FOR MY MEAL! DUDE, I PAID FOR MY MOTHERFUCKIN' MEAL! YOU TRYING TO RIP ME OFF! I PAID FOR MY MEAL!" As goes well with any such confrontation, when he tried to explain to her that this meal (designated to the spot she was sitting) was not yet paid for by the cashbox or computer, and asked what method she thinks she paid by, she just repeated "I DON'T KNOW NOTHING ABOUT ALL THAT, ALL I KNOW IS I PAID FOR MY MOTHERFUCKIN' FOOD!"
On the same table earlier (this was obviously the last table of the night, so by now other customers had left) they started talking about how much they got back on their taxes. At some point in this discussion, they decided they were high rollers because a chant started out, loud and proud, men and women, (and no, I'm not exaggerating this, we're all still laughing our asses off about it) "ALL WE DO IS SMOKE AND FUCK! SMOKE! AND FUCK! AND SMOKE! AND FUCK! YEAHHHHHH!"
In a restaurant.
Final tables of the night, man, I swear...
EDIT: I swear, I want a location that isn't this pants on head retarded where this crap is not so damn common. Its not "this specific job", its every-fucking-where here.

People who still try to lie at that point are as stupid as they are disgusting (I spoke to a similar dumb liar at my job today). I mean seriously, at least drop the pretense of "I did nothing wrong". Sigh.
