The Town is a group of people of which I am a part of. Therefore, I refer to it as if I were a single person within a group. So I use the plural when I refer to the shit we (the Town) need to fucking do, which is lynch Keiko. Then Rose or myself can get canned in the night and stuff and junk.

Honestly, I don't really like how this is playing out. It's turning into a situation of the loudest people being the rightest.

I honestly don't believe Rose. I find it unlikely that he's a character that was used in the last game with the exact same power. More unlikely that he just happens to uncover a mafia and that Doe instantly believes him. What seems more likely to me is that Doe and Rose are both mafia and Rose decided to just play out a character that had already been used to try and gain trust.

I'm not saying that's the case, I'm just saying that seems more likely, to me, than someone having a duplicate ability that sniffs out a mafia at random.

I get the whole "well just vote for Keiko and we'll know if Rose is legit" logic, but that's a huge risk, at this point. If we assume there are three mafia then we're at 6 townspeople. If Rose is bluffing, we lynch an innocent, go to 5, they kill someone during the night, we're down to 4 and then it's basically a perfect game for them at 4v3.

Giving mafia an extra night absolutely isn't ideal, either. =\

So Vad is actually Mafia? I honestly can't tell if he is being blatantly mafia or if he is just playing terribly. Either makes sense, so I just need to find that picture that will be known as "the face I make whenever Vad posts" picture.

I appreciate you wanting to tell us your champ, but it's a fairly meaningless offering, as, once again, it poses far more risk than reward for believing you. Believing you means believing you are a townsperson who no longer has an ability to use at night, which could mean very dangerous things if you're lying.

I do believe you're LeBlanc. I should have also said, in my first post, that I believe Rose is Warwick. It's too big a risk to claim you're someone, who's in the game, when they can just say "wtf no you're not, I am." Admittedly, someone could still do that, but it seems like a bad play.

Your abilities could really be anything, though. Feeding us information that was available in the last game isn't really helpful as it could be hugely misleading.

I'm fairly certain Vad is not mafia, just stinks at mafia =P All of this has happened in previous mafia games.

The other thing to consider is that I, ostensibly, have a greater luxury of time. It's only 7 PM here. I absolutely haven't said I'm not going to vote, though. I'm not even trying to stalemate or stall. I'm simply being critical of what's been said. I feel like not enough of that has been done in this phase.

As with all mafia games, there are just a ton of "what ifs" floating around and the game is really more about risk management than anything else.

At the most basic level, we, as a town, have one choice to make: lynch or don't lynch. If we don't lynch, we risk the mafia getting another kill. If we do lynch, we risk the mafia getting a two-for-one. Those are the worst-case scenarios, right now. The two-for-one is clearly the worst possible outcome of any choices made, there's not really any question about that. The two-for-one, however, seems less likely. What is very likely is that mafia will kill someone during the Night Phase. There's a good chance there's a "doctor" role out there, but we definitely can't count on it preventing the mafia from advancing their game.

So we assume someone dies during that Night. That will put us at 5v3. If we lynch today and get a mafia, we'll be at 5v2, which is basically the exact same spot we're in now. No real change has been made to the game-state. There's definitely nothing wrong with that and, ultimately, we do need to kill all the mafia members. If we lynch and get a townsperson, though, they'll be at 4v3 and only need a single kill after that in order to win that game. That... is a big risk. A risk that ends up hinging on whether or not people want to believe the only person who has leveled a definitive accusation.

Sadly, any speculation can easily go right out the window once we start talking about what champion abilities may be floating around out there. >.<

I really think we should do...something. Keikyo lynch nabs us a mafia one way or the other. If it takes an extra day it's still not just giving the mafia another day with no gains on our end. if Rose actually is WW, it's fairly likely he won't make it to give us any info tomorrow unless someone is a doctor-type

Well, I'll throw my vote onto Keiko as well. I know it doesn't mean anything now, but that's probably the decision I would have come to. Waff, I imagine, cares less about the risk than I do and is just playing the game. XD

I lied earlier when I said I wasn't stalling. I kind of was. I have an investigative role and wanted to use the Night as a chance to investigate Rose without having to risk him bluffing to the town. I didn't say anything earlier because, with the way my ability works, there's a chance that it wouldn't have revealed anything about Rose and we would have been in the same spot, but with fewer townsfolk.

This way almost works out better, though. One way or another we're going to know if Rose is mafia or not, so risking an investigation on him isn't necessary and I can put it to the rest of the townsfolk who I should investigate. So if you have an opinion on that, let me know.

Oh, and if we have a doctor role, that would be sweet if you could try and protect me, kthx.

"Sorry guys, I was" began the reply, but after a few minutes, there was no followup. "And?" someone finally typed into team chat.

There was no response and suddenly they were all involved with the epic fight for dragon. It seemed fairly back and forth, with a lot of poking happening but then suddenly, Soraka used Wish, topping everyone off on their health just as the teams were parting ways.

"Wait, wtf noob? They were almost dead!" cried one person, while another yelled "Thanks for the save ily".

Soraka sighed, knowing that she had gotten no love, but no one was dying today under her watch. Maybe they would understand the need to save everyone. Maybe. Till then, they all needed to simply recall and buy using their new dragon money.
