If I chose to be a bounty hunter, could said bounty be an item instead of a person? Also, as a bounty hunter, could missions be the elemination of a target as well as retrivals?

With jobs as broad as "soldier" and "martial artist" I'd assume you're covered.

It sounds fine in my non-authoritative opinion. If you want a more encompassing title, I thought of "mercenary" and "hired gun" -- if such a thing is an actual title

Yes. Yes, and Yes.
Mercenary is too broad. It's not accepted as a profession.

I want a profession that would be called 'Crusader' and the idea of this would be a religious fanatic who follows a certain belief system in which the tasks would vary, but always follow a set of guidelines. This would very much be like the Christian Crusades for the holy land. I plan on making Carter a part of a clan/cult/order/group in which he receives orders. Tasks could include killing or retrieving people or things, starting wars, creating alliances, or anything the order wishes to carry out that would cater their overall purpous. Their purpose mainly would be to force people to chose between overal goodness and overall evil and to eleminate the overall evil.
Note: People who have chosen an alignment will be consider either angels or demons to Carter. Obviously, bad people will be considered demons and good people angels. The unaligned will be called humans as they still have free will to make their decesion.
Would this fly as a profession? I know there is wiggle room as a cult could ordain any task necessary to their survival and success, but I needa find a way to make Carter some damn zeni! XD
What say you?

It would be fine, but you can't use any of the real religions because they're not applicable.

I'm not staff but it sounds to vague and i think it would lean towards the line of being to lose, like the term mercenary.

I wouldn't use any real religion, of course. I have created my own unique explanation for the way our powers work that has developed into my own fantasy religion. Thank you so much, can you change Carter's profession for me then?

A Crusader is in no way a mercenary. In the context he's going to be using they're soldiers of a cause whose goal is to kill other soldiers that oppose him. It falls well within the scope of allowed professions.
EDIT: It's a fancier title than say, Soldier. It actually narrows the field because his job only pertains to killing those opposite of his cults beliefs. Otherwise it doesn't count as a "crusade."

@Mal: I explained this to Vad in aim, but wanted to clarify. Not everything under the.sun counts as my job. For instance if Carter kills a good aligned individual it wouldn't count as a job. Think Jedi or paladin from WOW, any task they could assign would generally be something I could get paid for.

Well... I got a question... Does Gelidus' Champion or AEA Employee count as a profession?

Why? It's on the same topic so I dont think there is a need to clutter the forum with another?

Are they narrow enough to include specific tasks?
