Just got absolutely destroyed by a 27/5/10 Talon top laner this game. We had two pugs, the silent only-ulted-for-kill-steals Blitz top laner, and our fifth pick sudden jungle Leona armchair general.

Surprisingly, for the absolute and total stomp fest, I personally had fun despite this (and despite Leona just bitching up a storm all game), because what I was watching from that Talon/Lee/Galio combination was like a damn dance.

Best part, to me, is that despite Talon being double everyone else's gold earned and their lowest gold earned (support Nunu) being only .5k below our highest gold earned (Tryg on MF), they were absolutely and totally cool about it. I stuck around and talked to Lee and Talon for quite a while about their perspective on that game, what could have been done differently, and how they felt about things. They were completely mature about it and we all wished each other well and moved on. I almost say faith restored, but I know the rest of the community.

Did have the LoLreplay but I doubt it would interest anyone other than myself (and possibly Tryg) for analyzing how exactly this happened to us (given that we, and mostly bot lane, were not directly involved).

Talon generally stomps against a relatively weak laner, Blitz whose only battle capability is hopefully pulling you in to the tower and keep you there long enough to kill you in lane fits that mold perfectly. Blitz had no defensive summoner and built no armor to start the lane against a Talon that is purely dependent on attack damage and armor pen to do damage. Once Talon snowballs killing your own lane and ganking other lanes become extremely easy especially against a mid lane champion that has no escape mechanics, Heimerdinger. The rest is rather easy to figure out. Leona jungling made it easy for Lee Sin to invade jungle without much repercussions and the combination of Talon, Lee, and Galio vs Heimer, Blitz and Leona basically ensures a win in every single fight that happens in that jungle. Plus Leona has no extra sustainability in the jungle so she naturally gets low and susceptible for enemy junglers to gank.

The only thing that boggles my mind is how it took 37 minutes for them to win that game lol.

That isn't at all what I meant by that comment. Furthermore, as mentioned in the chatlog, I didn't encounter Talon (as Heimer) until he was already extremely fed, something around 14 kills or so if I recall with 0 deaths. Any deaths I had before team fight phase were due to being low on mana while trying to keep Galio off turret (since Leona wouldn't give me blue while Galio was being fed it) and then responding to a very pissed Leona bitching in chat "HEIMER! COME! COME!" while already fighting Lee Sin at his red. Repeatedly. Leaving me with no mana and a low health Leona fighting Lee, Galio, and their bottom laners while lacking said escape mechanics.

My mistake was that I should have just let the Leona feed in their jungle and focused on my lane because every time I went to assist, we just got double killed. Bottom line is that she shouldn't have been in there and it kept baiting our team into bad positions. It also didn't help that the two champs with the largest amounts of cc on our team didn't know how to use it at all. (Leona was using ult to farm top lane during team fights while Blitz only ulted single target fights as the kill shot if he thought MF might get the kill.)

Dumbass: Got stuck with what I'm pretty sure was an intentionally griefing Taric. 280 wins, but he didn't know that support needs gp/5? That supporty mana issues should be dealt with by way of Philo Stone? That wards are absolutely critical? That you shouldn't push if you don't have vision? To say nothing of the fact that he purposefully walked into multiple 2v1s (where we had vision of them laying an ambush) without any ping, and with no backup readily available.
