This is where you purchase your spells. Just post something like this:

And a staff member will tell you how much the spell will cost and whether or not it will require any Crystals you haven't already included. Since Crystals are used to determine the power level of a spell, the staff will try to avoid that whenever possible, but it may happen so try working with them.

Jasrit's Armlet glows with violet light and he uses it to reach out and condense nearby earth, launching it at high speeds towards his target. While no more lethal than a hard punch, the speed of this spell coupled with the ability to use it to attack from the sides and behind his opponents makes it a useful technique for beating opponents into submission.

Here's the modded old spell:
Dresh Destructive #1: Pummel
After speaking a brief incantation into his armlet,(Do these need to be provided? If so, "Rise from obscurity and bend to my purpose. Send them crashing down to the ground without bloodshed.") Jasrit uses it to reach out and condense nearby earth, launching it at high speeds towards his target. While no more lethal than a hard punch, the speed of this spell coupled with the ability to use it to attack from any direction makes it a useful technique for beating opponents into submission.

And a new one for later:

Dresh Defensive #1: Snare
"Rise from darkness and embrace the blood, draw it down to suffer the world as its burden"
Upon completion of the incantation, roots erupt from beneath the target, wrapping tightly around their legs and slowly pulling them down into the earth, up to about knee level.

The bard's Haiku

This is basically Eagon's base spell. I do have other concepts for Eagon's spells but they're mainly going to revolve around this concept. This was a family spell-casting technique passed on through many generations. The spellcaster has to write a haiku on any piece of paper or surface with their crystal ink. The condition for a successful cast is based on the haiku's content and whether or not it is good or on topic.

Example: Say Eagon wants to boil water, he has to write a haiku about boiling water on the water pot. Here are the following possibilities:

1) If he succeeds in writing a well-structured and on-topic Haiku he will have boiled water.
2) If he succeeds in writing a well-structured but off-topic Haiku he may turn the water into juice instead.
3) If he fails to write a well-structures Haiku, whatever he writes on will fizz up and he will lose the water pot.

This base spell will mainly be used for mundane tasks and work mostly as part of the story in my roleplays. I will post further spell ideas that are advanced and offensive uses of this spell.

The Bard's Haiku - 5 XP

Try to keep the spell centered around what the character can actually do. Since right now all you have is "fire," having him freeze water, as an example, isn't great. I get that it's mostly story related and that's fine, but it still needs to be kept within reason.

For Rayne:

Running Speed Boost
1 Lightning - Tek

A simple temporary boost of speed, which Rayne has been known to use to win games of JumpBall (whether it's legal to do so or not). She can use it in a single run for a decent period of time, but that's it. She is unable to use it in terms of fighting or anything like that (for example, increasing dodging speed). It's only good for movement.

For 6 XP, can I improve it to increase dodging speed and possibly help momentum when jumping...things like that? Minor combat things? The reason I ask is that 6 XP seems a little much just for the ability to move forward, you know?
