SO... Team Games...
#1
It's automatically... Assumed.. I'm going... Nasus(THe Tank)...

But...I do play at least 3 other champs.... Yi, Jax, and Xin....

Now I have seen my Xin Jungle and seen the screwed up games it has caused.... sp it scares me...

But I play a lot of Yi too... I have never tried jungling with him... Might be interesting or soloing him(I've solo'd him)... But as Alex will state I have made mistakes... But I have made great moves too.

I get arrogant and tower dive and tank towers(Everyone has seen me do this even with Nasus).

Thing is I want to experiment more... with the group... But... I'm more nervous of getting my head bit off.

I'm not saying you guys are assholes at all(like some have said before)... but its more me not wanting to screw up and disappoint, and feel like I fucked the team lol. It's fun playing with your guys.... but like when I was Nas on the lvl 19 account. I felt like a complete failure.

But I'd actually like to learn to play Jax and Yi with the team... Be it Jungling or Solo top or whatever...( Use to pl,ay Jax and initiated fights.... Not so much anymore lol)

SO any tips on the two you gots?

I dont know how to Jungle Yi... or what skills to go... Or Runes or masteries...

I go lane phase with a High Attck mastery. Start with boots or dagger .... then grab LS thhen max out the AS boots.... THen rush YOumans... By that time It's time to take towers at alll chances.... and with youmans and 'E' and ult... I rip them fast....

If I can get to them...

Did learn Yi isnt an initiator...nor Jax(as i was told by you) But a late entry... And that timing scares me as well with the team.... I can see..."WHy'd you go in to early/Late" ANd me blinking and speechless cuz I just am not that damned good lol.

I am probably overstating depending on who I play with... but the more input I get the better =D

Same with Jax... I go for close Jax's max AS... with HEX, his passive and Guinsoos. (THink trinity might fit too). I havent played him in a bit.

Jungle Yi is hard. Not recommended.

I've tried Jungle Yi, and I hated every second of it.

You just need to not Alpha Strike into the enemy team for no reason while they're guarding their tower. XD

Easiest way to learn timing is to ask the team's initiator to announce what specifically what he's looking for to initiate in each engagement (while understanding that sometimes an exceptional yet unexpected opportunity might strike, like a Lux cage intended to poke catching somebody out of position).

Does it look like a teamfight is about to break out? Ask what the initiator will use as a trigger and then keep your eye on that initiator (while still doing the poke/defend game).

Having somebody verbally acknowledge what they are looking for in good time to engage helps reinforce what makes a good initiation (aside from just catching somebody from out of position). Things like, "Next time this wave pushes", "next time Taric heals somebody", "as soon as Leona's ult is back up", "next time somebody from their team goes back"

If life gives you lemons, hand them to me!

As junglers, Jax is way more consistent to his team. Yi can jungle just fine and is an absolute beast when he's fed, but if he doesn't get the gold, or is against a CC-heavy team, he just doesn't do anything.

Being useful to the team has less to do with the champion you play and more with how you play them. Jax and Nasus are solo-lane champions and the team is going to rely on them to be coming out of their lanes and being serious threats. Doing that requires farming well, staying safe, and knowing when it's time to make shit happen. (side note: it's interesting that you refer to Nasus as a tank; he transitions through roles, but think of him as a carry first and foremost. Get farmed, walk into a fight, and ruin everyone's shit. Yeah, he can tank, but he's there to bash people's faces in.)

My advice to you is to pick whatever champion you're comfortable with and focus on your laning and awareness. Avoid ganks, ping when you see a jungler approaching someone else's lanes, keep wards up, win damage exchanges with whoever you're laning against, and focus on improving your individual laning skills. If the team can count on you to be an island in the top lane, they can focus on making plays happen everywhere else and if you've been farming correctly, you can walk into team fights and just be a baws.

Played a few games as top lane yesterday with some people for Ranked 5s and if Tryg recorded any of them there are a couple good examples of what I was talking about. A game where I played as Yorick was just silly (Yorick, to be fair, is not a hard champion to be silly with). I completely crushed the Olaf I was laning against, pushed to their inhibitor tower and could easily continue to push in a 2v1 situation. With one of their teammates distracted dealing with me, the rest of my team could run around doing whatever they wanted 4v3 (the rest of the team was already doing well, though, distracting that person was just icing on the cake, but it still works as an example). There was also a moment where I was Nidalee and my team went to get Dragon or Red buff or something, so I went to mid-lane and my team knew I could stall 1v5 for as long as it took them to finish what they were doing and get into position to make our next play.

Better examples of this can be seen if you watch top-laners stream. Dyrus and Hotshot are easy examples. People call Hotshot "FarmshotGG" because he sits in lane and just farms and pushes. The important thing to note, though, is that he's not ignoring the rest of the game, he's making conscious decisions about whether his team will be better off if, say, he goes to contest dragon or stays top to take a tower and steal some jungle camps.

Like I said, make a conscious effort to sharpen your individual skills (harassing, farming, and awareness) and you'll be able to contribute.

Well, with Nasus when I'm playing with you guys, I don't always recognize when I should be with you guys. I know that Farming his Q makes him the Beast he is. I know he has 2 utility spells as well. With you guys I almost expect a 100% roflstomp even if its 4v5>_>. Tryg and Kaden just give off that vibe<_<, lol.

At the same time, I know Nasus'(AD Nasus) damage is dependent on his Q. And he should get it as often as he can.

I know to focus on farming. And it takes me a wave or two to figure how much damage i do initially to a minion to know when to last hit and freeze a lane and I miss some... But I know I've come a long way... and I do hit Tab every so often to see where my CS compared to my opponent and like to smile when I out CS them.

I've gotten good at calling mias.

Awarness.... Is probably my key issue right now. And it's not so much awareness. It's Judgement. If I'm pushing... I'm usually looking at that mini map... Usually watching. But if I'm pushing.. I'm prolly thinking I can take the tower and get away... or take it and die.

No one has yet to tell me if taking a tower is worth a life or not. lol

Hell there have been alot of times... I take a tower and a life because they are stupid enough to send 1 person down against me.

Actually... I was just on my Mal smurf and I took a top tower while i guess it was 5 v 4 mid lane... pushed and took the second. We lost mid tower(the first one and They were initially pushing towards the second)

I took their second top tower... had bought Oracles everysingle time I died, so when the Evenlynn appeared..I killed her then was about to die to Talon... and got ulted on by Shen... Talon died...I died some damned how.... But that was a tower and 2 kills..

It was obviously worth it.

But is a single person dying, worth a tower? Does it depend on which tower? Depend on the person?

Also... It's been a While... but what are suggestion on Lane Jax and Jungle Jax? Runes Masteries and Item builds?

Same with Yi.... I only ask this for better ideas... I know I like Yi so much because I can take Youmans blade and his E and R And walk to a tower and POOF was never there...

Edit: And I know there is always room to even get better at those things Kaden +D
Edit2: Thanks for the GUide Weemus
