The majority is 18 for legal consent but in some states if a teen at 17 makes it clear their interaction is legitimately consensual and that there's no signs of abuse it's not pursued. In cases like that the only way to get in trouble is if the relationship started before the minor was of age, then the person in question would be charged and the teen would likely be coerced into seeking therapy of some kind.

The States have legal ranges from 14-18, but in most cases under 18 the other must be within 2 years age for it to be considered consensual.

Tch. Most of the Age of the Consent laws are 16 for the US.
But they are complicated as shit when you really look into them. The 2 year apart rule usually applies to both parties under 18(Meaning if a 15 yr old guy has sex, even with consent, with a 12 year old female, he can be charged), and can apply to those over the age of 18 that are trying to sleep with a 16 year old or someone thats just reached the AoS. You know how it is... Old farts are pricks and just want their jollies. Personally I have NEVER slept with someone under the age of 18, cept a chick that was 17 and I was 18. I was 16 and lostit to a 20 yr old... and aint looked back since... Thinkiong about it... Back then... I guess I wold have been stat-raped(Age of COnsent laws were like 18 back then)... Giants are wickedly awesome. Like: I'm at war with this lovely lady and she said if her state ever invaded mine they'd beat up the women and use the men as their man servants. On the subject of Louis CK, I highly recommend watching his show 'Louie.' It's fantastic and hilarious and surprisingly human for a comedy.
