Mal's post points out that 'age of consent' laws don't necessarily reflect actual emotional harm, and that his own experience was not problematic. Attempting to force him to be grave and somber about it does a disservice to his experience.

That, and Mal clearly didn't mean 'funny' in the 'laughter' sense.

They didn't try to make Dredd into a typical action hero and they didn't try to do too much. It felt like just a single day in the life of Dredd, and it was sick. Michelle Rodriguez gets cloned -- twice. There will literally be an Evil and a Good Rain character in that movie.

Part of me is almost frustrated I haven't seen this movie yet. Almost.

I feel like Anderson randomly wanted to bring everyone back so despite knowing he shit on the game story, he shit on the continuity of his own interpretations story progression as well. Afterlife was badass, made me hype to see this one. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion so I'm sure to some people it would be a good movie but...it was stupid. The whole idea was stupid. The end was the coolest part.

Such a great terrible movie. It's... it's like you put it, it's not just a parody of the game series anymore, it's become a parody of the movie series based on the game series.

I love it. The cliffhanger endings for these movies have just been getting increasingly ridiculously (awesome) since the third movie.
