Hate: My roommate. He's the nicest guy, but has no notion of reciprocity.

Tilted toward me:
1) He's effectively borrowing hundreds of dollars interest-free from me since July (still ongoing; we have an apartment ledger where we charge shared things that we both pay for. I cover utilities and he hasn't paid me back yet).
2) I left work early one day because he locked himself out of the apartment. I let him back in.

Him:
1) Does dishes slightly more often than I do.

I found out a couple weeks ago that I have two infected teeth that, rather urgently, need to be pulled. I asked him if he'd be willing to drive me there and back (since I'm going to be knocked out); he said 'Well, I leave for work at 7 [am] and am back around 5 [pm]; so as long as it's before or after that, sure.' Which is complete bullshit because what oral surgeon schedules times before 7 or after 5? He has vacation time and basically refused to even offer it, despite knowing the severity.

He's an ass. Really nice, but a fuckface.

EDIT: As it stands, the only other ride possibility is my mother, whose husband just got a kidney transplant, so the earliest we could have this done is Tuesday. Hopefully this infection stays put and doesn't decide to travel around (as facial infections are wont to do).

Your persona gives you off as a person that can annoy people intentionally. So, I find it weird that you would let someone run you over like that.

From someone that has done this in the past(I use to loan out money all the time... Still do to certain people...) I even help people out just to get something done.

But I am intelligent to know that they know they are using me.

The reason he is being nice is cause he owes you money.

But he wont care about your teeth. He's hoarding for a reason.

Have him sign a promissory note to pay what he owes you before you pay any more. Then have him sign a receipt for every other bill you pay, saying he owes half.

Yeah Skypiea is tied with Thriller Bark for my favourite arc. I am now, after the better part of a year, only a few episodes from being caught up on One Piece. No more endless 'next episode' marathons =(

[spoiler]Okay I'm sort of joking. Marineford is epic but I can understand why some people like other arcs better. Marineford has a ton of action and drama, and it's #2 for me.

My favorite is probably Water 7/Enies Lobby.

Yeah Marineford was great as a climactic moment, as a piece of epicness and to have almost every important person throughout the series appearing. In that sense though, I don't count it as its own self-contained arc the same way the others, or the current arc are. IT GETS ITS OWN RULES.

I just like the adventure feel of arcs like Skypiea. It captures the 'romance' of what stuff like One Piece is all about. It's fun and awesome and they go to crazy faraway places. As for Thriller Bark, it was just massively entertaining with the whole horror theme, also it centres on Brook who is hilarious ... it is hard to pick favourites because goddamnit I could say what's great about every arc.

That the thing about One Piece, there's great shit for everyone. I'd like to say Thriller Bark is pretty down on the list for me personally - largely because the Nami fanservice got really uncomfortable at times - but thinking about it, even though I don't find Brook that funny... His story, and the GIGANTIC REVEAL of

was just so incredibly Goddamn emotional that it was completely worth it. I can't think of a major arc in this series that DIDN'T end with me in tears. This is one of those series where I can honestly recommend the anime above the manga, because the fucking amazing music just helps nail those poignant points.

It's those goddamn flashbacks. Oda knows EXACTLY when to do an extended flashback for maximum tear-jerkery. Case in point: Luffy's mega childhood flashback. Any other time, it would've just been cool and a bit poignant. At that, particular moment? GAWWW FUUUCK

Been through 4 episodes and I'm already finding it hard to get in to.So far it's just an overpowered Luffy beating up villains and villainesses. Just seems predictable and therefore tedious. Does it change? When does One Piece start to pick up?
