It was another fine day in the Mushroom Kingdom. The sun was shining bright, and not even trying to kill anyone. Little Toads in the street were playing Kick the Koopa. Everyone was just in such a dapper mood. But that wasn't to last.

A message arrived at the castle, for once saying nothing about cake. Reading the letter, Toadsworth felt an icy hand gripping his heart.

"We are fed-up with the current state of affairs in the Kingdom. People walk the streets, shaking their hips from side to side. Poor typing instructors run willy-nilly. We are the Mafia, and we will not stop. Every night, one shall fall, until we reign supreme."

Word spread, of course. There was no way a secret of this magnitude could be kept. The people were frightened and all the citizenry gathered at Toad Town, both for the safety of numbers and to keep an eye on everyone else. Any one of them could be the Mafia, and to save themselves, they would need to figure it out and get them first.

Day 1 starts now. It will continue until Midnight EST on Friday. PMs will go out shortly.

This looks like it will be fun. Hopefully participation is high. I will be focused primarily on school (and work over the weekend) so catching midnight deadlines may be rough. So if I awkwardly don't get a vote in before time is up, (and you guys know this from me using 3am EST when I run things) that is likely why. Anyway, let's get this going and figure out where we go from here so I can have more to say in my next post.

We just have to play this game carefully. Every mafia game starts off the same: there's an awesome game in it somewhere, but we have to patiently bring it out.

Wow that's one epic remix. Sorry I've not been as active as the rest of you, just getting in from taking an exam that I didn't know I was taking until an hour prior. I'll have my laptop near me though, don't know how long these games usually last but I'm in it for the long haul, unless something happens that's way out of my control

Mafaria sounds like a better title but than again Super Mafia Bros is better. Kind of wanting to know if or will koopas and toads ever live in peace and harmony. Interracial babies are the best kind of babies anyway. Koads?

Toopas sounds better. Maybe they would look like a giraffe. Maybe even walk like a giraffe with a long neck and legs. It's a pretty dumb animal, mind you.

I sure hope at some point someone decides to tell us that they are mafia.
