So, I know a few of you all have this already, but those of you who don't totally should. It's ten bucks(I got it for 5 this weekend, muahaha) and a lot of fun, if kinda rage-inducing at times because of the randomness involved.

As for those who already play, what're your favorite ships/weps, etc? Just got my first win with the Engi cruiser using the following:
Wepstarter weapon, a hull beam and an ion bomb
Drones: Antiship1, defense1, beam1(power requirements are too high for anything beyond starter rank, specifically for defense2)
Max shields, 3rd to last rank engines, and teleporter were the most important parts for me. Teleport 2 crew to the weapons to disable them super easily(I prefer prioritizing the missiles since I didn't have cloak) to beat stage one with ease, ion bombed the drone room in stage two and kept spamming defense 1 drones, and phase 3 was the easiest for me and would be ridiculously so with a cloak whenever it uses the laser circus thing. All it takes is getting there.

I've sunk a good 15 hours into it but I can't beat the boss. Lost interest after dying too many times to it.

Been playing this, after finally buying it a week or so ago. I finally earned the Zolton ship, and it's an incredibly nice ship, especially starting with the uber-powerful Halberd Beam. Stil haven't beaten the boss though. Gotten to him with Human and Engi ship, but got stomped on. Hard.

Update: Finally beat it using the Engi Cruiser. 2x Attack Drone I, 1 Attack Drone II. A couple of Ion weapons to kill the shield. And that was that.

Also, I had almost no oxygen left, multiple hull breaches, and almost all sub-systems were down. It was more certainly a kamikaze mission.

Seems Engi cruiser is the easiest to win with. Ion weapons, while no flashy, are just ridiculous and the free drones with it is incredibly strong

I won with the Zoltan alternate ship. It starts out with 2 ion and a missile, that plus your zoltan shield makes it a beast mid and late game. Early game is rough for shields and energy though so be careful starting out. Just target weapons with EMP.

Basically the best way to beat the boss it to take any given ship and throw on a crew tp with 2 dedicated raiders (or a mantis or rockman). Each of the individualweapon systems are TOTALLY INDEPENDANT from the rest of the ship, so the one guy in there can't get any back up or heal at all. After you take out their missiles, its easy pickings.

Cloaking is also super nice for the 3rd phase to dodge the super weapon and buy time while your raiders are stomping asses or in the med bay.
