Despite their best efforts, a long day of accusations has worn everyone to the point of sleep. While they dreamed of flying masks, Shy Guys, and pulling turnips, there were those with business to get to at this late hour. A grin on his mustachooed face, the Green-Hatted brother of Mario entered a residents home. He was so tired of playing second-fiddle to his brother. Especially since he was taller, thinner, and even had a better color scheme.
But things would change soon enough. Once they had whittled down the population of the Mushroom Kingdom, the Mafia would be in charge. And then, everyone would worship Luigi! With those thoughts whirling through his head, Luigi crept towards the sleeping townsperson. This would only be too easy.
Pulling the sheet back, Luigi fired blast after blast of Fire-Flower into the sleeping townsperson. Only then did he realise his folly. With an immense explosion, the entire building flew apart, instantly killing both occupants.
The moral of the story is: Never hit a Bob Bomb with fire.
Obviously, the racket awoke the town, all of whom headed to the scene. For the townspeople, it was both a blessing and a curse. They lost one more townie, but taking out a member of the Mafia will help in the long run. A quick prayer for Bob, and they went back to their accusations.
Day phase will last until midnight Saturday EST. Have fun!

Up to two mafia left. Easy peasy.
What's annoying is that Tyr posted a grand total of 3 times and there is essentially nothing to gain from them now that we know he was mafia. So... that's cool.

Anything is possible, Mario, you just gotta believe in it. But even with that, does anyone else have ANY information regarding who Mafia is? This game could end today if we play our cards right.
Also, in past games, haven't we gotten a run-down of the character's abilities after they died? Or am I just smoking crack?

In past games we have, indeed, been told which character had what power.
The things I have to remind you people of...

If I told you when people died what powers they had, it'd make things too easy for you. But I have dropped clues into the OPs for most of them anyhow. At the end of the game, I'll post a list of everyone's characters, their powers, and quirks, and try to explain my reasoning behind them.
Also, I'll be asking for some critique on whether I did it right, or there were balance issues.

I definitely don't like being able to see people's powers when they die. It's too much free information and that can very quickly ruin the fun.

We have no information beyond baseless speculation, so I am going to just hold to my current vote for lack of alternatives. Maybe one of our silent "annnnny minute now we'll suddenly alpha strike the mafia, till then, we'll keeeeeep waiting" hopes will offer the invisible vote (or vote doubler or whatever it is) again.

I actually would like you to reiterate your reason for voting against me. You seemed to talk about the benefits (well, you actually talked about the risk because of mafia hits, but that implicitly means benefit to the town) of being active and then you're trying to get the single most active townsperson lynched. Meanwhile, we have Dehan and Teemer who have participated very little and King B who has only done a bit more than that.
For my own amusement, I will throw this out there now: you'll be lynched before I am, Ashe.

I completely agree with your last statement, given past precedent in these games. That said, I vote you due to the following. I have no concrete evidence based reason to vote for anyone who is an option, at all. Thus I have to look at the who is most likely to be able to carry this entire game on their shoulders if they were what I assume is the sole remaining mafia member. That is absolutely you, and I'm sure that you would agree that you pretty much have everyone follow "your plan" the majority of the mafia games, by the end of it. This means that times when you are mafia, they've ended with no one even considering you (other than the previously mentioned Mordekaiser incident, in which the only ONLY thing that condemned you was a fluke situation that created absolutely incontestable evidence against you, such that even you could not argue your way out of it. Outside of that, you seem to be the Handsome Jack of mafia games, walking through shit and coming out clean and "the Hero", even if you are the primary cause.
Does this mean you are mafia? No, it in no way does, as your past history of being mafia or not being mafia has no direct impact on your faction in this occurrence. But I've been lynched before, I've been executed before. Its not uncommon for me. I also know that if I'm wrong, I'm simply wrong and doing nothing more than anyone else can attempt at this point in the game with the zero information that we have. If someone has a better recommendation, then by all means suggest it.
I'm willing to take a risk and vote for you. I mean, as you pointed out, there are a number of inactives. I'm not afraid of any of them, when it comes to them being mafia members. If they stay inactive, they will be voted off by the active. None of them hold the sway you tend to hold. If, instead, you are active, then while we kill off the inactives by day, mafia kills the actives that oppose you by night, and then you lead us with red herrings and "you'll be sorry"s by day.
So yes, of anyone else in this game, you are the person who has the most potential to carry the mafia to a victory. I don't want to have to repeat this in my next post, but I will if needed.
That said, you have full rights to offer a counter-lynch vote towards myself, perhaps citing "his insistence to do the obviously game losing thing of voting off an active despite saying otherwise". Getting the entire town to rally around removing me wouldn't be too difficult, I'm sure, but then what? I die, you all have my role revealed to you (a townie, obviously, that isn't a sheriff or doctor, so no loss to the town, but I don't expect anyone to accept this without outside confirmation, as they shouldn't), and... the town wastes a vote as the likelihood that I would survive solo if I were mafia long enough to kill everyone in town to the man, while laying low enough to not lose the popularity contest is just abysmal.
I can see you surviving those odds, I can't see anyone else realistically doing it. And hey, I could be wrong. I'm willing to be, as I am certain most people believe I am more often than not (an understatement, I'm sure), but we'll have to find out. And maybe, from your threats, we'll discover you as having some kind of power like I gave Le'blanc, where an attempt to kill you instead kills a person you chose in advance. If you had such a power, given your statements, I have no doubt you would find amusement in choosing me with it at the beginning. Its a pretty funny ability, but not one I can particularly play around on assumptions.

Guys, we really need to have some sort of clarification from ANY investigative role. Someone has got to have some information, even if it's knowledge of who is NOT mafia. We need to lynch someone, and if it's a townie, we're pretty much screwed. I've had my suspicions about Kaden for a while now, but until someone comes forward with ANY info, he's as good of a bet as any.

I mean, nothing's impossible...Improbable, unlikely, but never impossible. But until we know who is or isn't mafia, we just have to go with our guts. And all I know is that my gut says "maybe".

I don't agree with just jumping on the bandwagon and lynching the guy with the most lynch votes just because of past history. I think it'd be a stupid move to take out someone solely based on that. But I do agree we need to take some sort of action, and if we're just going to go off on gut feeling, I also have a gut feeling.

Ok, so, point of clarification: what happens if two people have enough votes to get lynched?

Hmm... Well, we can go about this 3 ways, how I see it. Either...
1) No one gets lynched
2) Both people get lynched
3) We hold a second vote to pick whoever will really get lynched.
Myself, I'm probably gonna go for #2.
Edit: Of course, considering that this is the first time we've actually had enough people vote to have a single person on the lynching board, I'm not sure it'll be a problem.
Edit2: Also, about 5 hours left, guys.

Some people need to start coming clean about what roles they have. Either Blue has no sense of game balance whatsoever or Ashe isn't mafia -- hopefully I don't have to explain the absurdity of a single person being able to determine the outcome of the rest of the game (am I the only one who remember Karthus?). The fact that he was blatantly lying about it in the last day phase, though, doesn't inspire much confidence. I'm a little sad that Ashe's bandwagon-ing over the last couple days has drawn basically no suspicion from other people, but oh well.
We have so far seen no evidence of an investigative role. Bullet Bill and Bomb-omb had pretty evident powers. I'm praying that Bowser, for whatever reason, wasn't our sheriff. We've also seen no evidence of a doctor, so I hope there is one. I'm neither of those things, and I don't think Ashe is either. Meaning that between King, Teemer, and Dehan two of those people are integral to town's survival. I really hope Dehan isn't the sheriff since he's done jack-all to actually help today.
Knowing that I'm not mafia and suspecting that Ashe isn't, I'm going to keep my vote for Teemer on the hope that King B is the sheriff and doesn't want to reveal himself. If he's just guessing, and Teemer is innocent, then I guess sorry to Teemer.
Since I'm going to have to use this power today, I'll deign to grant you all some knowledge. I'm Princess Peach. My quirk is that I'm better than you all -- true -- and need to make you all aware of it -- which I have done remarkably. My power is to lynch someone of my choice instead of who the plebians around me choose. Hopefully it makes sense why that's not something a mafia member would be able to do.
So, if, by the end of the day, I have a majority vote, Teemer will be lynched (as of now). It's only a one-time-use power, though, so I would really like to not use it. If other people could actually contribute some information, we may not have to continue voting randomly and might actually win this game. So... yeah... please do that.

I'm on my phone at work and short on time. What kaden said makes sense and is enough to give reasonable trust. To get my info out I'm toad with the power to cross dress letting me vote twice. Saying that means I die tonight if we vote wrong. Sorry about my quirk but kaden is in another castle. Blue started that power did not affect faction so keep that in mind but
unvote kaden. Lynch teemer.

Okay, yeah. I'm the Sheriff.
I am Boo and my ability is to haunt someone of my choice to find out what their names are and what their alignments are. I haunted the guy that can change lynches the first night to find out that he was Princess Peach, but I didn't want to disclose the information and didn't want to draw attention to myself. I actually wanted to try hinting him that I was the sheriff by sayin something clever like "stop being such a princess" or something of the sort, but that clearly fell through.
I initially had a gut feeling about the guy above me, but I changed my decision of haunting him into the guy I'm lynching because I found out that the guy I'm lynching is Mario Mario from my second haunting. So yeah, there you go. That's what I've been doing in a nutshell.
