Short Bio: A “cultured” Saiyan who is of an old family; the house of Garnet. His bloodline is of aristocratic origin starting when the Saiyan dominance of Planet Plant was fresh. He has just now been weaned from the family’s support, a man now, he must make his own way in the world. He seeks glory and improvement, both of which he will need in great amounts if he is to re-enter the family. He must learn all his hard lessons so that he may live a life of higher caliber with that wisdom.
General Description: Garnish is rather tall, he stands 5 feet 6 inches off the ground, and may very well still have some growing to do. The Saiyan seems almost lanky in his build, but it is not as he is too thin but more like most of the unnecessary bulk had been subtracted from his body. Garnish’s physique is a natural one, his muscles are not overly defined, they smoothly link to make him look as if he is somehow a single muscle. His body is covered with durable cloth clothes: a shirt that should be white but is quite dirty and dingy light blue pants whose legs stop mid-calf, which, are held up by his pitch red tail which he actually weaves through the waist as a belt. He has a thin angular face, his nose is thin and long. His moderate eyebrows sit closely atop the oblong almonds which are his eyes. His hair is a coarse mane which falls down to surround his neck and collar bone on three sides. Garnish’s hair seems unproportionally large compared to his body, but he should grow into it in his upcoming years. The Saiyan’s hair is a deep red which is the trademark of his family. Garnish’s hair is a deep, dark red, which in many lights seems black which throws stark contrast to the very pale skin which is also a family heirloom. He has no facial hair. Aside from these features his only distinguishing marks are scars of a Saiyan childhood in the house Garnet.
Starting Moves:
Face Rip Combo- In close quarters combat Garnish is often instinctively drawn to attack the numerous soft spots around the head. This often leads to a rush of multiple gouges, pokes, punches and clawings; in, on and around the eyes, ears, nose and throat (think wolf fang fist in your face) This combo is different each time it is preformed, but is marked by Garnish’s heinous intent to disfigure his opponent. This is Garnish’s attempt to end the fight quickly by causing severe pain, and luckily, if it does not end the fight it facilitates an ending, as the victim is often in a state of recovery for quite a while afterwards. ( I wasn’t sure if Combos were allowed as starting moves)
Garnet Attack- A ki attack which comprises of a quick thrusting of Garnish’s hand with two fingers pointed towards his opponent. This thrust signals a tricky attack which is neither a beam or a ball. It is a generation of an explosive force at a distance. Using his mind to command this attack Garnish usually is thinking of an area inside his opponent’s body in which to unleash the blast. When all goes well a large explosion occurs inside the opponent’s body causing ghastly wounds or even death depending on the power of the attack and the power of the opponent. In any case this technique emits a flash of crimson energy when it explodes. This technique is limited to the way Garnish imagines the target, if that exact situation can not be met then the attack simply does not work. (Never used before)
Ki Acceleration- Garnish’s ability to use his ki as an to provide explosive acceleration to his body. At its lowest form this technique allows Garnish to accelerate an attacking limb using ki to measure its speed. This multiplies the attack’s force and inertia. At the techniques’ highest expertise insane things can occur. The drawback of this technique is that it can waste a massive amount of ki very quickly. Since this tech acts like a valve if it is not stopped quickly enough it can drain the whole of the user’s ki. As long as the limb or body is meeting an opposing force (i.e. opponent’s body) ki is draining. The attacks mustered with this technique tend to be devastating. (Not realized yet)
Generic Ki Use- Garnish knows how to control his ki in a general sense. He can generate ki balls and beams from tiny sizes to gigantic sizes depending on time available and purpose. He can also fly using his ki. Although, there is always room for improvement the Saiyan could be said to have a very good handle on the technique.
Surprise- Garnish is not above using dirty tricks to defeat an opponent. His philosophy is that a person should fight to win. One of his favorite methods of distraction is grabbing a rock and then pulverizing it with ki while he holds it in his hand. When done close to an opponents face a cloud of dust forms when the small pieces of rock explode outward into the face of his opponent. The cloud can momentarily block vision, but when used at its most effective (when dust and pieces of rock hit the opponent in the eyes) it causes then to be blinded for a turn and have blurred vision for several turns after that.
Role-play Sample: (minimum 300 words)
Today was the day. He wasn’t aware of it yet, but he would be leaving today. He heard them coming down the corridor and into the room where he slept tentatively. The room was filled with many other boys. Garnish lay still; it’s best to not be noticed. It made no difference today. They were coming for him whether not he hid or made himself known.
His first instinct was to fight, but he quickly pushed that idea out of his head. He didn’t know what was planned for him, and thought it best not to make trouble until absolutely necessary. They carried the young man by the ankle out of the front door and tossed him out several feet.
The young Saiyan landed on his head and then tumbled to the ground. He was used to the abuse. He rolled to his feet shaking of the pain in his scalp. He walked towards the door and attempted to get back inside, but his way was blocked quickly by one of his large burly attendants. He quickly found the back of the large man’s fist across his jaw.
The attack had been a type of warning shot. While he flew backwards through the air the adult yelled, “Go on, get out of here!” Garnish apparently took their lessons too seriously. The young animal landed on his back but sprung backwards and rolled to his feet. No thought was needed, Garnish dashed towards the man and began tossing punches into his torso.
The older Saiyan apparently had lost some of the war inside him. He was going easy on the boy. He allowed the boy’s attacks to land and grabbed Garnish by the face and pushed him backwards. Within Garnish however, the war was fresh and furious. Charging again he attacked in a similar way and was reacted to in a similar way. This was as expected. When he was in close quarters he tossed his knee into the large man’s groin.
The older Saiyan roared out in pain and was brought to his knees. Apparently, war spreads war because the older Saiyan got to his feet enraged and ready to kill the young Garnish. Lucky for Garnish others were nearby and restrained him. They reasoned, “He is nothing now. He isn’t worth your time.”
One of the Saiyans ran over to Garnish; the young man attempted a high kick at his new opponent. The larger man grabbed Garnish’s ankle and spun quickly in a circle, on the third revolution he let go. He saved Garnish’s life. Although the young Saiyan might not have felt like it when he crashed through the brick wall of a building a mile away.
At first young Garnish was very disgruntled, but when hunger took over several hours later, he forgot his spite. For the next few days the young Saiyan worked out how to survive on his own. An easy task seeing as his childhood training was meant to create a rugged individualist of the boy. When, Garnish found he was surviving with relative ease he realized that his training up to now was definitely worth the pain. He also realized that this was the next period of his life. His mind had been clouded by anger at first but Garnish now realized he was living his dream. If he survived and improved himself, he would be allowed a position in his family, permanently.

Garnish doesn’t really have the concept of right or wrong. He is like a cat killing a mouse; the cat doesn’t stop to consider his actions, it is just what he does. He also lives by the adage “If I can’t see gums you aren’t trying!” which was pounded into him as a small child. When Garnish attacks, he attacks hard and shows the pink of his gums every time.

The combination of this mind set and an outstanding memory allows Garnish to follow his creed with near perfection. This however did lead to him not speaking at all for long periods of time when being punished for not answering correctly.

His family had found a way to survive and continue their legacy by living under and in ruined buildings in the most utterly destroyed parts of what used to be cities. His family has not picked a side in the conflict for leadership of Vegeta. There is some indication that they may be Vegeta loyalists.
