My girlfriend has been trying to get me to listen to Thrice. I think I've only ever heard...one song by them.

A list. ...Well, let's see how inaccurate this winds up. Ranked from most favorite to least favorite.

1. Nine Inch Nails
2. Muse
3. Metallica
4. AC/DC
5. Disturbed
6. Rob Zombie
7. Queens of the Stone Age
8. Audioslave
9. Blacq Audio
10. Slayer

I can keep going but the 'ranking' would be less meaningful. Even now, the only concrete rankings are one and two. Honorable mentions to Ozzy and Linkin Park, I guess.

If you want I can send all their albums to you over AIM. Do you have AIM?

Oh and ps. If you live in Australia and you like Stars, you'd probably like Architecture in Helsinki, they're from there and they sound about the same SORT OF.

For the record, Bojack didn't get me into Led Zep. My dad did, because he used to play it all the time when I was a child.

Bojack tried to get me into AC/DC, which I guess was a success. . .

They're playing in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane in late Feb/early March.. I'm not sure where you're located though (I think Sydney?)!

Does anybody listen to Oingo Boingo? I haven't been able to find any albums other than Dead Man's Party and I really want some more cuz they're nuts.

I thought Seether rocked. Until they released their new album.

'Fake It' is such a lame song I have no words to describe it.

EDIT: Hey, Bojack, you're an AC/DC zealot, right? If you haven't already, listen to some stuff by Airborne. They're another Aussie band and they sound eerily similar to AC/DC's old stuff. I think it's very good.

I really hate how I grew up listening to Bone Thugs N' Harmony and 2Pac. I don't hate it, it's just not my favorite kind of music, and now I find I'm playing a HELLISH game of catch up. I just discovered the Stones last month, for example.

My mother used to play the 'oldies' though, which was kewl.

I'm on such a Sublime kick right now. I've recently realized that 40 Oz. To Freedom is one of the best albums ever.

I'll have to look them up. I haven't actually heard Stars, but I've read about them, and they sound like my sort of music.

Sweet, I chase that too. Nope, I live up in Queensland, about six hours north of Brisbane.
