Let down or awesome flick?

I personally wanted to see the chick explode without the curtains or what was left after the guy was chomped near the end by the huge creature. My girlfriend and I were laughing during that whole spider sequence in the subway tunnels from their amazing vocal likeness to a pissed off Donald Duck.

Aside from that the concept was pretty good. Gave the feel of what it must have been like for hundreds of Japanese when their military waled on Godzilla.

Yeah, great movie throughout, but the ending was just so utterly ridiculous that it made you forget how much fun the actual film was. If you take it at face value though, it was a pretty good piece of cinema.

I thought you could connect to the characters, which was nice, and it seemed realistic enough to me. I love the Blair Witch style camera, and Hud's quirkiness was endearing. You really felt for the characters.

Good movie. Bad ending.

My cousin gave me the rundown on the whole movie, basically a group of people trying to outrun a unknown monster than they all get killed in the end. He said it was a decent movie but the camera made him dizzy a few times from the way it moved.

He prays there won't be a sequel lol, but I may see the movie this week just for the hell of it, if anyone wants a somewhat clear image of the monster it's below.

This movie was fantastic. I don't really consider the ending bad, because was there really any other way to end it? The camera wasn't that bad, it was actually pretty good visual effects.

BTW did anyone catch the ending, when they were sitting on the the ferris wheel, the monster fell from the sky and into the water. That means that it was there for about a month before the actual attacks. Which also means that it came from the sky. So was it drop in like a weapon or is it extrateresstrial? Food for thought

And if anyone stuck around for after the credits, there was a message backwards that stated "Its still alive.."

But yeah, if you grabbed a seat a good distance back in the theater you didn't get that over hall on the whiplash from the camera motion.

I waited but never saw that message. There was a voice, but some douchebag was talking over it so I couldn't tell you what it said. I liked the movie, it was different and entertaining. Nothing overly moving though.

From what I'm catching around the net Paramount is keeping a dictator-tight bound on any clips from the movie that might circulate sites. I've had the same amount of luck trying to locate the bloody thing as well.

Eh... the one that blew up looked like you'd find her in that club scene from Scarface. She wasn't as hot as Hud made her out to be.
