The dragonball z movie videogame

Bojack Wrote:No saga could be made into a movie. MAYBE Vegeta, but travel to Namek + Hunt for DBs + Ginyu Force + a bajillion episodes worth of fighting Frieza, that's not going to happen either.
Yea, but in the show they had five minutes last four fucking episodes. I think they might cut that down.

Well look what they did with Transformers. They barely explained anything about the characters because they were so iconic that they didn't really feel the need to.

Doesn't mean it was a good idea, nor does it mean it would work with a DBZ movie.

I thought they explained exactly as much as was ever explained about the Transformers.

Transformers didn't need much backstory, they're big ass machines fighting other big ass machines.

"Giant fighting robots" is the technical term.

Well, in Transformers the series they explained why the two sides separated, exactly who Megatron was (as opposed to 'the ice man') and explained where the 'All-spark' came from. They also failed to explain that it was meant to combine with someone and give them awesome power, instead, it just made people explode.

For DBZ, they could simply say that some guy took the genetic codes of the strongest fighters on Earth, made a monster, then sent that monster out to kill said strongest fighters so no one could get in his way. Instead of saying he had a personal grudge against them, they'll probably just have them be targets because they're just about the only threats on Earth.

That's why I partially hated the movie.

But yea...if they leave out some stuff it'd make me go 'you bastids.'.

They turned an important backstory artifact into a cheap plot device.
