roleplay example:Broli was the first Super Saiyan born in more than a thousand years. His power level upon birth was ten thousand, which was more than enough to take out a typical elite Saiyan such as Nappa. Saiyan doctors quickly informed King Vegeta of the baby Broli's unnatural power. Out of fear that one day Broli could overthrow him, he ordered the child's execution despite Broli's father, Paragus, pleading for his sons life. King Vegeta, angered at Paragus's protest, attempted to execute him but couldn't quite get the job done. The King then went to execute the baby himself, grabbing the small child by the ankle and impaling a dagger into its chest. The dying Broli and his father were thrown into a trash compactor. Ironically, Emperor Freeza was preparing to destroy the planet. As Freeza's Death Ball plowed into the planet, Broli sensed what was happening and encased him and his father in a protective Ki barrier that liberated them from the explosion. It also allowed them to fly freely through space without dying.
Over the years, Broli's unnatural power began to take him over. It even got to the point where he could transform into a true Super Saiyan. Because he was just a boy and never received proper combat or Ki training, Broli could not control his Super Saiyan powers and they would cause him to go mentally insane. He would destroy anything he could get his hands on, sometimes even entire moons and small planets. His father, Paragus, even grew fearful of his son and realized that Broli had turned into an insane, evil monster. Fearing that Broli would destroy planet after planet, he had a scientist craft a device that would be fitted on Broli's forehead that would allow Paragus to keep his son's power at a minimum. One night while he was sleep, Paragus fitted the device on Broli despite a small scuffle between the two.
Paragus began to realize that his son was now the ultimate weapon and his Saiyan desires began to take a grip on him. First he wanted revenge on King Vegeta, if not the King than the next best thing, his son. He found an old, barren planet filled with ruins of once great cities. Using Broli as a weapon, Paragus enslaved nearby planet's people and forced them into slave labor to rebuild the cities on the planet he would eventually christen New Vegeta. Now he needed to locate Vegeta and would later discover him on Planet Earth. During this time, Broli was let loose on the South Galaxy which he tore up like a chew toy even though his power was still restrained. North Kaio sensed this and had Son Goku investigate. By the time Goku reached the South Galaxy it was already nearly completely ruined.
