Question about fusion.

2) Not without both characters knowing the Fusion technique. If you both have the
technique, then that would be fine.

3) Fusion is very rarely given out, and only by administrative approval.

4) Yes and no. We used to do that, but for the sake of simplicity, we cut everything down to one technique. This include the Potarra-style fusion, the Fusion Dance, the Namekian racial fusion and so on and so forth. The actual fusion itself can be RPed just about any way you want it to be, as long as you have the technique. Personally, I've always RPed it with the fusion dance.

Probably not.

I'm not going to say "no" outright, because there's a chance that that will be used as part of a stroyline someday, but I know of no such plans.

Anyways, I have to disagree on at least Potarra. Technically, yes, all the fusions are one, but Potarra is permanent, and just like the show has shown, it's PERMANENT. Hence the fused being of Trunks Unified. CT and FT are gone, now there's just TU.

Since techniques like fusion and SSJ (or in my case, Transformation) are given out by an admin or mod after the saga is over, what happens if you need that power-up to defeat an enemy while in the saga?

I'll give an for-instance:

In the show, if Goku were to recieve his SSJ power-up after fighting Frieza, he would never have been able to defeat him, but we all know he went SSJ and killed him during the saga as a dramatic climax and kicked teh ever-living shit outta him.

The same goes for Cell's transformations-- Cell needed his Perfect transformation to defeat Vegeta, Trunks, and Goku in USSJ forms, but all his transformations happened during a saga. The same goes as well for Trunks and Goten's fusion ability.

I guess what I'm getting at is this: Can new techniques be learned (with staff approval) during a saga which would give a fighter the needed edge for winning, if their RPing was good enough for the latter part of the story? Maybe I haven't read enough of the sagas on here, but from what I'm seeing everything is rewarded after the fact, and that might not be enough in some cases.

SSJ isn't given at the end of a Saga as a reward unless the person in the Saga went SSJ.

Nope only transformations, though it's possible that we could let someone use a technique in the saga. It just doesn't happen, usually you get through the saga with what you know and have.

Edit: Well it's happened once, when the original people who got IT got it, we used it to escape a meteor storm I believe while in mid saga. There really is no rule as to when you will get the technique, but usually at the end.

Many of the people who attained SSJ (and similar powerups) did so during a storyline deal, to fight someone. During, not after. So there is no rule to it, as we can have someone learn a power up at the very beginning if we so chose.
