But, this crap happends...

If any of you have noticed, or talked to me, I've recently cleaned up my computer and prepared for reformating. Well, it was a slow prosess, I sat reading an entire novel all day, I couldn't see my boyfriend because he's sick and believes that if I came over I'd soon be sent home anyway. Well, that's not my point, my point is I have been faced with a very...horrific change...

That program I'm sure you've heard of...Lynix or something...yes, it consumes my computer...My scroll button on my mouse doesn't work, the font on all the websites are hard to read. The resolution is huge and I don't know how to fix it. My clock is in 24 hour settings, I have no sound, my speed has been reduced, and I feel very lost. I want my XP back...

My brother says I may even need a new computer, which is horrifying. How long will I be gone if this current setting doesnt last? Well, hopefully not too long.

I'm saying this to let you all know, I'm not dead. I will try to get on, to do what I need to do. But this change is so...annoying, everything is so different, I need to move the scroll bar down manually! I miss the small icons and broswers...And easy to read font. Not to mention the banners all look huge...

So if anyone cares, I'm still here, just slightly computerless...

Reformating didn't fix the problem? It should. I don't see a virus making you need a new computer unless it somehow fried a component. I would reformat from DOS and then install a clean OS..

My brother thinks my motherboard was damaged in my last reformatting. Something had gotten into my tower and fried my fan and I had to get it replaced, so some other stuff could have been damaged.
