;_; not site related but I'm on the point of pulling every piece of my computer apart... here is wats goin' on:
Symantec is going crazy and sending out junk mail like "I lost my hand down her.." and "Get your computer back!" basically all this spam mail.
Giving me pop up after pop up after pop up of crap saying...

I have no idea what's going on... my only email is through AOL (blah) and that isnt' even sighed up. Please help ;_; I've been Xing out pop up windows for a half hour now. Thanks very berry much in advance.

Hes looking for help Pikkon... real help...
I would uninstall norton or whatever symantec software you got in there and reinstalling... but im no the most knoledgable computer person here so wait for someone who knows for sure.

Get Ad-Aware to delete your spyware. My computer has been known to constantly shoot up a search engine because some website installed spyware that caused it to happen. Once I deleted it, all was well.
http://www.lavasoftusa.com should have it. It's free, too.

) I duno what happen in those two days I was away from the compooter but it screwed everything up... thanks again for the helps everyone.

I also would advise NOT uninstalling Norton. I've had it for years and have never had a problem with it.

Taking it out and reinstalling wont do anything bad. And I thought I had given him the link to Ad-Aware in the past... turns out that was tapion... my bad.

Yeah Broli gave me the Ad-Aware and Rad gave me Spybot. Now my computer is...umm...ALMOST running fine except for the fact that it keeps screwing up...xD but Goten, it may take a long time but when running Ad-Aware I suggest doing the in depth scan which is already checked for you and also get the latest updates for it. Also I could send you Spybot over IM if I knew your IM but I dont. I got it from Rad...actually, get it from him because I don't have the install software so you're screwed. xD but I know what that's like. Before I had that stuff I would go into add/remove programs and took all unwanted programs off and then I would go into the C: Drive and went to program files and deleted all the programs I didn't want. And every time I started my computer up I always brought the ctrl+alt+del thing up and went to processes and stopped everything under the username, not the system. Ad-Aware should do fine and make sure you got all updates on Nortan. If you have any more problems just post again.

I could find the thread but Im pretty sure I suggested ad-aware fist. I dunno. My memories not to good but I remember posting an Ad-ware link . And Im almost postitive it was in tapes. Im not positive it really matters though.

How does that solve anything? Having programs enabled at startup shouldn't cause any problems. At least it never has for me in the years that I've had a computer.

Too many things running overclocks your computer. It doesn't scramble files, much less OS-Specificated files.
Oh, and what I suggest for Ad-Aware is to simply do a deep scan before going to bed so it can run overnight. Once you've done that, you can do a smart-scan every few days, whereas the smart scan takes no time.

Actually Broli, no matter what if you did the deep scan once it always goes faster the next time. All I do is in depth scans now and it takes no time at all because I've done it so much. Plus it checks more files. But something that's REALLY good to do...is not look at porn dude...lay off of it. That's what my bro told me another time my computer was screwed and after that it was basically fine...xD I'm serious too, that's the sad thing...

My point was that a smart scan works just fine after the first deep scan. And no, you won't ever be able to make me believe that your deep scan is faster than your smart scan. I have 300,000 files that are scanned in the deep scan, compared to the 50,000 scanned on the smart scan.

And no I didn't say it was faster than smart. I meant Deep scan is faster the more you use it, I mean like the first Deep scan lasted all night and now it just takes a couple minutes. That's all I'm saying.
