What about a thread to discuss movies we recently saw, and hated or liked?

Terminator 3: Rating:6.5/10

I think it was an overall nice installement to the series. It had some nice action and tied up some loose ends from the the other T movis. Ah-nold is getting a little old for the movies, but i like the new terminator girl lady. A nice blend of mechanical parts and that liquid metal.

Also to the brits, 'Shaun of the Dead' is coming out in america if you know that movie. A kind of horror spoof that is way better than scary movie. hilarious, though a little british in its humor. Some culture references us americans might not understand if they dont have an english uncle to inform them. I suggest you see it. *thumbz0rz up*

Bah I was very disappointed in Boune Supremecy. Camera work was to... hmm... dizy. The action scenes were sub-par. Eveything else was fine but... it just didnt appeal to me. Loved the first though.

There was something else... but i cant remember.

I never seen Hero. I might rent it when it comes out.,

I thought Borne Supremacy was awesome. Has anyone read the books? Identity and Supremecy are the first and third books. What my dad said that he didn't like about them was that a guy by the name of Carlos the Jackal was one of bigger villians in the books. Never heard of him? You obviously saw the movies.

I think the last movie I saw in theaters was Catwoman. It was free for me, so stuf. It was ok. Definitely a better rental, though. Unless, of course, its free and you have a girl to go with.

Oh! I just lied. I saw Alien vs Predator. If you rent that movie, which you should, just skip the first half hour of it. Too many bloody humans. The fights are awesome, though. Predators continue to show just how badass they are.

I saw Hero...did not like it as much as other people did, there was so much more story wise that could have been done...*meh* also I saw the Day after Tomorrow...NICE!!..I like movies like that, good story with very Accurate descriptions on what could happen in a situation like that...not to mention the visual FX..

I heard they butchered the hell out of AvP to make it PG-13. I saw it and thought it was good, but when the directer cut comes out im seeing it. It actually shows everyone die.

Brotherhood of the Wolf

It's in French with subtitles, no big deal. The movie is incredible, from the cinematography to the storyline. Truely a great film, you all must watch it.

Six String Samurai

A guitar playing samurai makes his way through the post apocoliptic wasteland of the Nevada desert to get to New Las Vegas while being chased by death, who wants to claim the newly vacated throne of The King, who was none other than, "The King".

Garlic...man..when you go to rental store pick up the day after tomorrow...it should be out with in the month....the Visual effects kick arse and the fact that someone took the effort to write a good story behind the FX is rare..most directors now hope the lacking story will be covered by the super duper Visual...

Also I think I saw Hell Boy *Spasm* it chipped away at my mind..it blew, the plot was horrible, the only thing good about it was teh fight scenes..other then that...if you wasted you money like I did *meh*

its a story about a guitarist, who is looking for work but in the age of electricity cant find it. He comes to a town where he accidently becomes a wanted man because they think he is a killer with guns in his guitar case.

A movie for those who like mental movies. This is a story of a guy whos wife was killed and is looking for her murderer. But there is a catch.....hes got short term memory.

I thought Hellboy was pretty sweet. Spiderman 2 is a friggin' 10 out of 10, greatest superhero movie of all time.

I hated the lead charcter in AVP, she anoyed the crap out of me, and when she was talking back to a predator, lemme say that again TALKING BACK all I could think was, "Yeah right, WTF." That movie was actually terrible, but thats what I expected. The fighting was cool.

Collateral: 8/10 Real realistic and good

Hulk: 5/10

Hellboy 4/10 Really stupid

The Punisher: 6/10 A good action flick but really cheesy lines but there was this cool part...I wont give it away.

The Girl Next Door 10/10 If you've seen it you know why and no Frieza, it's not a gay porn flick =/

Johnson Family Vacation 7/10 It was good and the dad reminded me of my dad

There are more but I forgot. I want to see the new Resident Evil and Paparazi. Are they worth it?

Edit: Day After Tomarrow was ok. Only cool for the CGI effects when everything frosted over. The wolves were badly made.

Anchorman: 6/10 it was ok but no plot really

Dodgeball: 8/10 This was so funny. I laughed so hard.

Napolean Dynomite: 9/10 Funny as hell but kind of stupid =/ But it was funny as hell it was "awesome" and "sweet"

No way! The Punisher is the best thing to come to cinema I loved that movie with all my heart it was sexy, got the T-Shirt the next day downtown had to steal money from my mom for it *word* 10/10

The Hulk was kind of stupid in my opinion. It could be better. Punisher was alright but they made things too obvious and like people were getting revenge back and forth. I laughed when the guy got his peircings all taken out from his eyebrow, bottom lip, and ears. He deserved it for doing that =/
