Final Fantasy IX

OKAY! I'm in the middle of playing FF9 for the 252532365th time, and I just realized: This game is the rox. It rocks in the story, the systems, the characters, the graphics, moves, and even the fucking music. It IS the best, in my opinion(which exceeds all of yours)

Basically, I think we should discuss Final Fantasy Nine Not other FF games, just FF9.

What are your favorite parts? Characters? Music? Movies? (no spoilers, please, in case someone wants to play)

Personally, my favorite part is the end of Disk 1, the video where Kuja is looking at Freya, Zidane, and Vivi and he's all like "haha you lost!" and flies away on the sexy silver dragon

Obviously, if your just gonna something like "never played it, sounds stupid, never gonne play" or some useless post like that, I'll delete it. If you dont have it and wanna know more about it, feel free to discuss and ask questions

I liked that game a lot, but none of the characters really spoke to me, if ya know what I mean. However, I would have to say that either Freya or Beatrix were my favorite characters. Freya's just badass when she trances.

Zidane was alright for a main character. What I liked about him is how they kept most of his personality in tact. Yeah, he spouted the usual "good guy" stuff, but it sounded like Zidane most of the time.

I bloody hated the summoner girl. I forgot what her name was. Not Dagger, but the other white mage. She just pissed me off. And it pissed me off even more that her trance was way more useful than Dagger's.

The only reason to have her was so you could use Esuna.

Why did you hate her though? I mean, I can see where it'd be annoying always seeing an outline of her vagina when your looking at her outfit, but other then that I liked her o.0

Everything about her character bugged me. She just got on my nerves. There was one specific scene where I really started to dislike her, but I don't remember which one it was.

The only characters I hated was fucking Zorn and Thorn, the only use they was when they ended up merging into that really cool green boss. That was fucking sweet.

Other then that those two suck.

Anyway, yes. Those two should go choke on each other's dicks. I hated them as well.

I never really got into the card game. Did anyone really get into that?

I loved it. Its easily the most addictive(and easiest) one on FF so far. Its alot better then FFX-2's shitty coin game.

FOR 14:

I dont think you could make Kuja the way he was without having him look a bit....feminine. He was still the sweetest villain yet, and it was awesome seeing some kind of drag queen pwn everyone the entire game.

Without the feminine touch....he just isn't Kuja

I never really got into the game, but Scott appearently got to disc 3.

I had to return the game to a friend, but I did the whole Chocobo quest and also got to the part right before entering the final world. I was currently training to get ready to go to the Chocobo Air Garden to fight the boss there. I can't remember too much though, as I have been unable to play it for quite a few months now, but I agree, almost.

I still love Final Fantasy IV (2AM), but Final Fantasy IX somehow managed to sit down right beside it on the top tier. The characters are awesome, I have the soundtrack in my car, and the cinemas were just... wow. I loved it when Kuja summoned whatever it was he summoned to destroy one of the airships, I believe the end of disk 2. All the ending cinemas are godlike.

EDIT: And to me, I like Kuja a HELL of a lot more than Sephiroth in the badass department. He fucks with their head enough, and the whole "Zidane's true past" thing has such a Goku of Dragonball feel to it, but I love it.

End of Disk 2 he summoned Odin, and then he 'stole' Bahumut' and used it against the bitches =D

I also think the scene where Dagger cut her hair was beautiful. Had a very "life changing" feel to it.

Yea she was HOT *sarcasm* I remember all my friends complaining how tough the Black Waltzs or whatever were. I blew through them like they were nothing.Course evertime I got to a life spring I trained untill I got virtualy no expeirience from the surrounding monsters.

My favorite character was probably Beatrix... because she rocked extra hard. Although no one could possibly hate Vivi. That magical little midget.

Favorite part of that game... probably the part where you're escaping from the forest, and the cutscene right after where you watch everything turn to stone (I think it was stone).

Another great part was the entire Freya saga, end of Disc 1 to the middle of Disk 2.
