It's come to my attention that some members are being very disrespectful to fellow RPG members and staff members alike regarding the decisions made in regards to Dante's Abyss, and as to the possible chance of their character going to Hell. Point blank, it was your decision to join Dante's Abyss, knowing full well that if and when you died, there is as much of a chance of you going to Hell as there is Heaven. Only a possible few, if that, will visit Kaiosama's Planet. Secondly, do not begin to throw a tantrum and attack members or staff regarding these decisions. I will not listen to it. It is immature, and selfish. This is a game. This is not a thing to be taken seriously. If you get killed, then roleplay through it. If you feel that it will completely screw you up, then you shouldn't have joined DA. Almost everyone will either meet their death, or surrender to return, but your life is completely at the hands of your opponents in this. So if you do not have the integrity to deal with the possible death, then have your character wimp out and go surrender to the nearest Synex guard. I've read and reviewed a couple of various complaints regarding decisions and how each person feels that "THEY" should have won and we were biased and what are they going to do if they go to Hell and all that other crap, and my reply is to grow up and get over it. DA is your choice. If you don't have what it takes, go surrender and leave the planet. It obviously isn't safe enough for those few of you. To those of you that aren't doing this, I greatly appreciate it. The roleplaying is exceptional, and the activity is amazing. I have greatly lost a lot of respect of some members that I had felt were exceptional RPers, while at the same time greatly gaining respect for others. This is what makes and breaks people.
Finally, if you want to complain that "I can't help it that my writing isn't as good because I'm having a bad day and I'm young and *excuses*" then deal with it. I don't like being so hardass, but the Olympics do not give special freebies to an athlete just because he has a headache that day. It doesn't give the younger athelete extra points over the older one either for lack of experience. This is a tournament. Our rulings are what they will be. If you do not agree with it, tough. People rarely like to find out that they are beaten, but in a tournament, everyone cannot be a winner. And in this one, death is very likely.
Sorry, but it's just the way things are. Please be respectful to your fellow member and staffer, and treat others with the same respect you wish to be treated with. Thank you.
