Capsule Corporation Board Rules

The capsule corporation board is where you go to post the items you wish to buy. The list of items you can buy can be found here. There are a few rules to remember about posting on the CC board, so please keep these in mind:

1) You must role-play yourself making the purchase. This means you can't just put what you are purchasing and the price of it, you actually have to role-play your character purchasing the item

2) At the bottom of your post, please make a ?receipt? of your purchases. At the top of the receipt, put what item(s) you bought and their price, along with any upgrades for the item(s). Below that, please put your current zeni balance before you purchased the items. And at the bottom, please put your new zeni balance after the purchase, in equation form (Example of equation form: 1000-200=800). An example of a receipt for a purchase is as follows:

Bought: Scouter (400)
Zeni Balance: 1500
New Zeni Balance: 1500-400=1100

3) If you are splitting the cost of an item with someone, please post at the bottom with the receipt exactly how much each person is contributing to the purchase.

4) Certain items can only be bought on certain planets. If you want to buy an item that is only available on a certain planet, that means you actually have to be on that planet in order to buy it.

5) If you are purchasing more than one item, you don?t need to make separate posts for each item. Just role-play purchasing both and add both of them to your receipt at the bottom.

Thanks, and we hope you enjoy your shopping experience at Capsule Corporation!

Okay, that's what I have for the regular CC board. I don't think I missed anything. If you all think it isn't quite good enough, just let me know. I tried to make the rules as compact as possible for people who are just joining to not be overwhelmed by it all.

Thanks. I'm thinking of altering the increment thing though. I'm just going to make it so ALL bids are in increments of 50. Adding the extra zeni just seems pointless to do. Here's what I have so far for Cbay. It's not too much, because it's fairly simple. All feedback is much appreciated.

Cbay Rules and Regulations

Cbay is the place to go to when you wish to auction off items that you have to someone else. You can also auction off items that aren't in the CC shop. The great thing about Cbay is that you don't necessarily need to know the person IC to sell your item to them. Just make sure you follow a few rules and regulations for the auctioning of items and bidding on them.

1) When auctioning an item, state what the item is, any upgrades it has (if any), the starting price for bidding, and a time limit for how long the auction will last.

2) If you are bidding, all you need to do is say how much you are going to bid for the item. New bids must be made higher than the currently highest bid, and it must be at least 50 zeni more to be an acceptable bid.

3) Bidding for an item must remain in increments of 50 zeni. It is pointless to post your bid with a few extra zeni randomly thrown in.

4) If you have already bid, then don't post again until someone else has bid after you and you wish to raise.

5) If you want to withdraw your bid, it must be done before the auction is closed and it must be done in the same thread

6) When the set time limit for the auction is over, the person with the highest bid gets the item. Don't constantly try to extend the auction time.

NOTE: No role-playing is necessary to auction or bid for items on Cbay

Those are all the rules for auctioning and bidding on Cbay. Please follow them and we hope you enjoy using Cbay!

I don't think all bids should be, so then people have a choice, yea know? Is somebody going to post their item and hope it will increase 1000 in 3 days at that rate?

But good job ^_^

As in only multiples of 50? That's a good idea, 20, nice job.

Thanks, but I'm not exactly sure how to reword that. I did my best to make it seem understandable to a new member, but I guess I still have some work to do. How could I make the part about only increments of 50 at a time a bit more clear?

Umm...

"All bids must have a increment of 50, or a multiple of 50(i.e. 50, 100, 150, 200, 250...)."

Just play around with that a bit, I guess.

3) Bidding for an item must remain in increments of 50 zeni, which means in multiples of 50 (i.e. 50, 100, 150, 200, etc.). This means when you are raising a bid by more than just the standard 50 zeni as well. It is pointless to post your bid with a few extra zeni randomly thrown in.

4) If you have already bid, then don't post again until someone else has bid after you and you wish to raise.

5) If you want to withdraw your bid, it must be done before the auction is closed and it must be done in the same thread

Well, I hope that's a little better. Oh, and if there's any other work that you all need me to do for the team in this task, let me know, because I feel like I was given something too easy to do. If there's anything else I need to add to either of the two sets of rules, please let me know.

For the shop part, you should add a little something that some of those items can be obtained through a saga on rara occasions(staff or personal). Or it could go into Slug's section, or both. Just throwing it out there.

HF, I was about to edit your suggestion into mine, but when I reread it, it didn't seem to flow too well with the rest of the shop board. I considered those rules mainly to be for just buying items on CC. Plus, I tried to make these rules "newbie friendly" (that's my new term for such things now =P) and I'm afraid it might just confuse them more to add that.

On another note, please, if there's some other work you all need me to do, just let me know.
