Task 4...
#1
OK guys, we know the task, lets get some jobs together. First, what type of ideas do you guys want to do for the Wizard of Oz saga?

As soon as we have enough ideas by about 11:30 tonight, maybe later, I will start the pre planning, and outline, and the opening post.

For our jobs, I think each of us should choose in case we run into something like people not wanting to do that job.

Here are the jobs:

-Editing all pieces of work. (Most likely Pan)

-Writing a musical to it (For this, I think it would be best to wait after all of the ideas are out and I write the pre-planning)

Those are two main things.

But after we get enough ideas for this Wizard of Oz saga, I will make more jobs for us and seperate things. We know the criteria, so, any ideas?

Ok, I'm real tired with a major headache so I will start writing as soon as I wake up tomarrow morning. But first, I would like to share my idea.

For the saga, a large group of people are teleported from there planet (Instead of Kansas =/) and are on a whole new planet with new races. Then, after learning that there was not only a way to get back to their planets/homes but a large reward in the end, the group of warriors decide to follow the "Yellow Brick Road." And on the way, they meat characters that aren't necessarily the "Tin man" or a "lion without a heart", but just NPCs with some of those attributes. (Sorry MK, you can't be the Tin Man unless you are an NPC). And they go on their travels, blah blah, and finally get to the large castle to meet the "wizard". But it isn't an ordinary wizard. This wizard is a warrior with magical abilities such as babadi or bibadi, but actually are powerful and take the whole group to fight him/her. And on the way there will be warriors to fight and other stuff like that.

Like it? Any other ideas?

Ok here are more jobs...

-NPCs (We need a person to make NPCs)

-A Person to Write an Outline (This will be the basic structure of it, and from there, I will write it all)

-Pan can be our editor.

-I guess Pan and somebody else plus other people can do the musical.(For originality, let's make our own musical to go along with our own storyline.)

Who want's what? First come first serve. I will be writing the main post and helping on the outline. Any other ideas/suggestions for the saga are welcome.

I like the idea KB, but I think Tapions would be a lot more straightforward and would cause less trouble.

Yeah, plus, Burter did say we need to have it seem like WoZ, and yours would confuse them at first. Ok...Then, it looks like mine is the one unless somebody has objections and good reasons to not use it, or has a better one. Kid Buu, you need to start on the outline so that I can start doings some things. I will post the pre-write/ideas for it and you make the outline from them. We don't have much time.

Edit:

We need somebody to come up with the description of the planet they are teleported to.

We also need to know what kind of creatures live on the planet

And attacking enemies

And Guldo, you need to make the NPCs.

Instead of putting blatenly, Tin Man. Make a new NPC in his role and have a problem with him where the group has to help him.

Same thing with the rest of the NPCs.

MK, can you make the races? Like, the races of the creatures on the planet we are teleported to. Then, creatures that attack the group while on the journey down the road. Something like that, do you understand?

16, can you describe what the planet looks like, and at the beginning where the martial arts tournament is. I like the idea with the tournament at the beginning. Then they will all be teleported from the ring into the new world. We need to know all of the different types of areas on this new planet, and a new name and if you want to make different regions, go right on ahead.

And Tien, could you try to make some rewards for the quest. This is for if you die, or live to the very end.

KB, when more information comes from these people, could you make the little "outline" more detailed so that we can just finish this up?

Edit: MK and Guldo, when making the NPCs and characters/enemies, can you put their ki in too? And, if you want, what their strongest attributes are?

Minoshia, are you there?

Ok, cool. Yeah, Minoshia will be writing the rules, but if he doesn't get here by tonight, I will do them because I don't want to be late on this deadline.

For 16, do it DBZ style mixed in with Oz. So make something creative up. Creativity is usually more appreciated.

Mino, make the rules as in what happens when you die, if you attack your group members you will die (off the top of my head), make rules up that if you do this certain thing, then that will happen. If you are still confused, reply.

It's cool, Guldo, just do it when you have the time tomarrow, I don't want to miss this deadline.

Rules
Purpose- To Keep the SAGA on path, but also remaining flexible.

Ignoring those in need- The non-playable-charachters, or NPC's, that you will meet and that will accompany you on your parties adventure are very important to the story line. Ignoring an NPC, or refusing to take him or her along in your party will result in a seriously negative response by the NPC that will result in a similar conclusion as taking him, but at more pain to your party. IE- Ignoring an NPC might, depending on the NPC, throw him into a violent rage, attacking your party and forcing you to let him come with you. Same as brining him, with much suffering to your party.
Note: This does not mean you have to be nice and kiss their asses along the way.

Wandering off the trail- While obviously some exploration will be allowed for adventure and treasure hunting purposes, venturing too far away from the path (IE- away from eyeshot of the path, or if all members are off the path at once.) Will result in all your party members blacking out, and reawakening at the starting point, at the beginning of the path.
Note- This is in no way a means to erase any creativity and flexibility from the SAGA, it is just to keep this long saga from being an epic and from parties trying to cut across a meadow for instance and appearing near the end of the path on the other side, thus avoiding all trials and defeating the path's purpose.

Attacking other Party members- Attacking other party members, this may be allowed if the reason is seen fit by the SAGA moderator. Fit reasons may be one member basically being an ass and taking over the group, ordering everyone around, etc. But killing off party members so you solely reap the benefits, or for reasons not seem fit by the moderator, may result in the Grand Wizard to reject you your "wish to return home" on grounds that your heart is evil. The result in the SAGA ending without you returning home is a torturous death.

Godmoding- This is a basic of RPing, DO NOT GODMODE. This cannot be emphasized enough. If your charachter reaches a trial, and just repeatedly breezes through them, an alarm should ring in your head that you are godmoding. This SAGA is supposed to be fun, and challenging. Do not ruin the latter by Godmoding. Penalties may result in loss of reward or a "accident" to your charachter along story lines.

In final, enjoy the SAGA, have fun with it. Get to know other charachters and develop your own, stay away from these basic rules and your party and the moderating staff should be on good terms. Goodluck.

Munchulls ? A midget-like race of people with advanced knowledge of their homeworld. It seems that all that goes on on their planet is absolutely no surprise to them. They might possibly through a psychic link with their planet, but no one is truly sure. They skin is a slightly purple color, and they often wear bright flashy clothing. They are very strange looking creatures, and all of them look surprisingly similar. Upon getting to the planet, the race tells the warriors to follow the golden path, which will take them on their great adventure. They are a goofy race that just likes to have a good time when not being tortured or bothered by their enemies.

Munkeens (750,000 ki)? A race of winged creatures that work for the evil wizard. They are ruthless and nasty to the eye. Covered visible scars where their fur was cut straight through, they somewhat resemble monkeys... if they had been brutally beaten and deformed. They carry energy weaponry of different varieties, and are expertly trained with them.

Treybens (1,200,000 ki)- An angry race of tree-looking creatures. They are not very fast, nor very strong, but they have amazing defensive capabilities. This is the only reason they survived for so long. They don't stand up as much of a match for a group of foes, simply because they can easily be beaten on. A one on one match however, they can show you where their power is. It almost seems as if most attacks placed on them do no damage to them at all. (Hint: maybe a well placed destructo disk... or similarly sharp object would cut them down to size?)

Good job guys. I understand that some of you were actaully gone and some of you even told the team you would be gone. I respect that and I tried to finish it all up. The only thing that might hurt us the most is the spelling/grammar. I didn't check that fully. But good effort guys and if we lose, I believe it is my own doing.
