How many of you actually liked DB/Z/GT
#1
I never did care too much for Dragonball, though it was rather funny at times. Then again, I never really cared for anime period.

Dragonball Z is my favorite, though I'm starting to get sick of the Cell Saga from playing so much Budokai.

Oh...and the Buu Saga was kinda lame.

Well, then I guess I'm on your death list. I had no idea you were so obsessed.

I liked DB and DBZ, despite the incredibly huge plot holes.

GT = bad.

All were good, DB was good but after awhile was just retarded...well, not always.

DBZ was good but they drew out the Buu saga too much

GT is alright, it sucks campared to the others mostly but I can watch it.

I just hate how it takes three episodes to show a transformation. They made the shows take forever because they spend 15 minutes just from thoughts and how they feel.

That, and how they stretched out the last 5 mintues of Planet Namek's life into like, 10 episodes.

GT started out looking pretty good, I thought the whole Bebi Saga idea would kick ass. I mean, the whole revenge on the saiyans from the race they thought was wiped out is pretty good. But yet, they completely killed it there at the end. Super 17 and the Shadow Dragon Saga were downright awful.

DBZ was pretty good, DB was alright, GT was bad.

Games can have nothing to do with the show. The great thing about DB/Z/GT, was that they had a wide array of charcaters, so there are ones of all shapes, sizes, genders, species, colours, etc. It is so fun to mold them on a RPG.

Nevertheless, the Super 17 saga was horrible. Bringing him back was a bad idea. And then Furiza, Cell, and even Nappa come back. What the fuck was up with that?
Then you wouldn't have m-... oh.

That would be awesome. Krillin would, of course, rise to the top as the strongest being in the Universe.

I just think they need to get rid of the whole time-travel idea, though. The Cell Saga was too confusing and strange. Trunks died like four times in only two or three different timelines. I'm still trying to figure out how that worked.

Did he not die once in one timeline? Or am I mistaken? I'm not entirely sure...

I've never been able to see any bit of the Cell Saga, other than when Vegeta fought 19 and 20. I never saw the rest for some reason. They looked pretty cool I guess, back when the storyline had a bit of sense.

The whole time travel thing was explained in that one little feature movie, "The history of Trunks" or something. Him going back in time to stop it all from happening, yadda yadda yadda. But I thought the basic concept was good. The whole SSJ being something they had, but it wasn't enough. So, they could try to become stronger, but they would become slower, making it a tough choice to make and all.

SSJ2 was cool, but I think that once they hit SSJ3, things were getting iffy. You really didn't need to become any stronger. I would have liked to have seen the good guys really struggle with their powers stopping at SSJ2 or whatever. It would have been more interesting, and created a better plot.

Woops, rambling again.

Am I the only one who thinks SSJ4 is extremely lame? SSJ3 is cool (though Budokai 2 made it look lame), but it doesn't quite seem like you can go any farther without making them look extremely gay.

You can only go so far, you know what I mean?

I almost feel ashamed to have watched every episode of DBZ.

I thought that they coudl have made SJ3 look a bit better, but it was pretty good. SSJ4 was okay.

I never had a problem with Raditzu. I had a problem with Nappa.

Seriously Nappa, your character is screwed when it comes to the SSJ stuff. You can't give him hair, or he'll look awkward, but SSJ almost isn't cool without it. Know what I mean?

I can imagine Nappa with SS3...

"AGH! MY EYEBROWS! THEY ARE COVERING MY EYES! I'M BLIND! AGH!!!"

Anyway, I like DB the best. Its back when the show was a lively show, it was good, very good by my standard. It was very funny, and made me laugh.

DBZ? Thats pretty good, not as good as DB.

GT? That was pure garbage.

SSJ5 was supposed to look like an icy SSJ4 looking thing, with blue body fur and white hair. I think they murdered it when they introduced SSJ4... because the way it was introduced I was starting to think "Damn! When is it going to end?" Especially when it's all out of proportion with the strength.

When Super 17 went fist to fist with Vegeta who was only in Super Saiyan it was pretty sweet, but when you see the same Super 17 kicking SSJ4 Goku's ass I was sort of hoping Vegeta would pop out of somewhere and finish both of'em off. Just too uneven of fights.

DB was great. It was funny and enjoyable to watch.

DBZ was great as well. However, where it neared the end, first cracks appeared. I especially didnt like SSJ3. I think they should have ended it with SSJ2. Beacuse the first two where great. Also after the Namek saga, human characters get thrown away.

DBGT......at first it was ok. Allthough I didnt like the idea of black-star dragonballs, it was still good to watch. But thats when they blew it. Dr. Myuu is an exact copy of Dr. Gero except that hes colored a bit. Also while Bebi was an interesting character, I think they where copying the Android thing. It just got too suckish to be worth to handle.

It's possible they could simply start over with SSJ4, and make SSJ5 a SSJ level for SSJ4.

Understand what I'm saying? Level 5 would simply be Level 1 on Level 4's body. Level 6 would be Level 2 on Level 4's body, etc.

The only thing more annoying than long posts is people that quote the long posts, and thereby make their own post even worse.

I think it's great how long Bebi posts. When he posts, I know I'm about to read something worth clicking on. Even if I don't agree with it, I know it won't be a little two-word post.
