I can't believe my school is this stupid.
First off, the details. One, I go to a Christian private school. Two, they don't like long hair. I always point to the pictures of Jesus with long hair, but they don't care for that too much. There requirements are as follows: Out of eyes, out of ears, off of collar.
Now, for the story. I love to have long hair. I can't stand short hair. So, as you can imagine, I stretch out each haircut as long as I can, basically riding along until they begin threatening me with punishment. Then, I get about a centimeter off and start the process over again.
In about March, it was time for another haircut. This time, I reasoned that by getting a little more cut off, I could make it through the end of May, and go until August until I need another one (Score!). My hair got longer, and by yesterday, I was pretty sure I'd make it. Until, my principal began jerking off.
This is the last week. I would've just needed to make it until Friday, and I'd be fine. Friday, we get our report cards. Friday = freedom.
But, Principal = Loser. She is making me get a hair cut, three friggin' days before graduation. If I do not get one by then, she is threatening to withhold my report card.
As you can imagine, I'm pissed right now. I don't want to spend good money just to get a few millimeters cut off to bring me back into dress code, but that's what it's looking like I'll have to do. Fucked up? You bet.

That frigging suck's dude.. And just get a pair of scisor's, some one with steady hands, & get them to cut it off. It'll be easier & cheaper >.>

Problem is, the only person that could feasibly do it in the time period is my mom, and she hasn't had a good run with that in the past. True, I just need a straight line cut, but still...

If it makes you feel any better(which it won't), I have really long hair.

Yeah, that didn't help me at all.
I guess it isn't that big a deal. Only a little bit of hair cut off. I guess it's the principle of it all that pisses me off so much. But, oh well.

I'd just trim it myself. It grows quick and if you screw it up really bad then oh well.

I wouldn't let them push me around. Were im at thats not aloud, teachers can't say that down here, no rules about hair length, that is totaly fucked up.
It doesn't matter anyway, you'll live threw it, and i myself prefer long hair as well ;P
It's the principal. I might hate to admit it, but she could keep my report card away from me. It's not like she HAS to give it to me (though I would certainly raise a stink). If I was more aggressive about stuff like this, I might fight it. But I'm just gonna comply.
Yeah Koola and KV, I think I'll just trim it myself. I won't bother with the back (though it's getting a bit long, and I don't want a mullet). Maybe I can just tell her, then that I did cut it...

Krillin goes to a private school. Private schools can implement their own dress codes, it doesn't matter where you're from.

Well, Krillin, I feel sorry for you. It sucks going to private schools, with their demand for payment and very idiotic rules. On the other hand, your diploma will be worth much more then if you came from a public school.

Only if we're accredited. I can't remember whether or not we are.

That's absolutely retarded. Get the Superintendant on her. Believe me, in most schools I've been in, the principal is usually an asshole, but if you're at a private school, the superintendant always tries to make everyone happy.
Heck, if you feel up for it, just ask your principal, WHY it has to be that length. It doesn't interfere with anything, and it isn't "revealing" as they call it.
Or, you could just take a pair of scissors, and cut off like, a millimeter.

My hair's about down to my shoulder blades in the back, but the front is just past my chin. I started growing it out while it was still uneven.

Hey! I'll have you know that I don't smoke pot or wear sandals. Living in Oregon is, admittedly, not the best place to live and claim to not be a hippie, but... well... ok, I don't know where I was going with that.
At least I'm not in Eugene.

I got the haircut today. A bit more than I would've liked, but it'll grow back in two weeks (roughly).
I just can't wait until college. No hair restrictions. W00t!
