Sigh after watching this anime, nothing can come to compare,
With its soft and fuzzy style and this feel to it. I have to say its a enjoyable anime that can make you cry.(Its not certain so you dont have to prove me wrong). I recomend this anime to everyone.
I cant really give a good summary ,but Ill take a crack at it.

Haibane Renmei Summary

In a long-forgotton walled town, humans coexist with the Haibane, angelic-like beings of unknown origin. Rakka becomes the newest Haibane, after she awakens from a strange dream and finds herself hatching from a massive cacoon. With no memories of her previous life, Rakka struggles to adjust to her new surroundings, however burning questions remain in the back of her mind.
What is Haibane and what is their purpouse? What lies beyond the huge, forbidden town walls? Thus Rakka begins her wistful journey of self-discovery and wonderment.

End Of Haibane Renmei Summary

I know this has some religous content ,but that is only a small part of the much greater story-line. As I said before I recommend this to all Anime-Lovers across the world. And hope you enjoy the story as much as I did.

Sounds interesting... even though I'm not too much into anime myself, I guess I can wait a while before a few people make AMV's of it. That's how I usually get involved in other animes (Trigun, Cowboy Bebop, DBZ, Naruto >.>)

I have yet to see this, but a friend of mine (the original Bra here) has been preaching this show for the last couple of months, talking about how it was by the creator of Lain and has rented and watched the entire series multiple times.
