A few months ago, I too did not know what was Chrono Trigger. Then I learned about it here and played it. An awesome RPG, I must say.

Chrono Trigger is a very old game and you dont hear about it much these days. Thats why the majority of (young) players doesnt know what Chrono Trigger is. Infact, I doubt they even know what SNES is.

It's not that. I remember my NES, and the day we packed it borken into a box very vividly. Just, outside of Chubbs, I had never heard of Chrono Trigger. I never had control over what SNES games were bought, as I was like six or seven at the time. =/

The only legal way to have a ROM on your computer is if you own the original version ie. you own a copy of ChronoTrigger on your SNES. Otherwise it has to be deleted after 24 hours after download.

Honestly, CT has to be the best RPG game of all time. If you've never played it, and you're a fan of Legend of Zelda-esque games, you will explode in your pants at CT.

Actually, thats just a hoax. If you dont own a original cartridge, then you cant have the ROM even for a second. But do you think anyone actually obeys this law or even the 24-hour rule?

Allthough it is true that companies do not object to downloading ROMs of older games (i.e. those they do not produce and sell anymore), they dont support it either. Especially Nintendo, who plans to run on Revolution a special server where people will (for a small fee) be able to download all old Nintendo games.
