I know this is gonna sound bad on my part, But a dog is a dog, a Human is a Human, Human takes priority, and yes the dog would take up space they could have used for a person. God people think that the government is not doing anything well they are. It's just that alot of people are so desperate they are giving in to primal instincts, killing people, stealing. Shit the it's gotten so bad, supply vehicals from the National Guard had to turn around and leave from the convention center because there are angry mobs, granted that's not fair to the people that need help, but they have to worry about their safety to. It's just a really fucked up situation, forgive my language, but this is gonna take time, alot of time to recover from.

uh it's basically Lake New Orleans, thats how much water flooded the city, It is now the most horrible natural disaster in U.S. history with a record estimate of 33 billion dollars in damage and untold of human losses, but people pushing corpses out of their way in the water would be evidence enough.

EDIT: I would rather our armed forces focus be on getting people not pets.

I am looking at it from everyside Toma, in the end the dog matters very little compared to a human life. so what the kid sheds some tears and gets over it, there are more important matters at hand then having to find a place for this dog ok. This is all very opinionated, fact is though, everyone is trying to do their best in this situation and help out, people might not agree with the way things are done, but as long as life gets back on tack that's all that matters.

The only thing that still leaves me wondering, is that we're supposed to be PREPARED for these sort of things. People on the news keep trying to call this "unanticipated." That's a flaming pile of bullshit. We saw this thing coming several days ahead of time, and we had plenty of time to get the national guard ready, and get people evacuated.

And where is the FEMA?

EDIT: And before you go and say well how do you know, well I have a long time friend who lives in New Orleans, he could not escape because everything was so backed up, and he had no money on him, and I know that because he managed to call me from Texas where he was exvacuated.

I already was saying that at work. Got quite a few enemies for being so "cold". I personally feel that aside from the elderly, sick, or hospitalized, people knew this shit was coming. How about stop blaming people at all? Hundreds of people are dead and the better part of an entire city was destroyed. No one doesn't deserved to be saved from a natural disaster like that. They're human beings for christ's sake. How would you feel if your home had been shattered to splinters and the corpse of your father was being eaten by rats? On top of that, people are panicking and looting and acting psychotic. I'm pretty sure I wouldn't be in my right state of mind.
