Did a quick google, looks pretty cool. Though considering it's an RPG, it will probably be like another year before it's translated into French, German etc. And for some reason, they like to keep European release dates simultaneous so that will include the UK version.

I've never played a Dragon Quest before though

If it's anything like the Dragonquest 1 and 2, then this one is will probably be really great too.

I got a demo of it. From what that little disk shows me its not too bad, but not the sex the earlier DQs were.

Heard it was as good as the FF series. Better than x-2, but hell, x-2 was shitty.

Same old battle system used so many times but I heard it's a good game. Also for thsoe who didn't know, they are NOT remaking FF7.

Uh... no.

Its similar, combat-wise, to FFXI. Running around a world map and battling monsters in real-time by running up and hitting them. That kind of MMO-style thing. Its not going to be the same as FF7/8/9/10.

And I'm quite fond of FFX-2. I think its a lot better than FFX.

I can't take FFX-2 seriously. All I see when I look at it is hotpants. I mean, I'm tempted to buy it, but not because it might be a good RPG, just the hotpants.

Hotpants are no problem. I just can't see the game as an RPG with them there. All I see are hotpants. Like, when you go into a battle, you can't concentrate because hotpants are there.

RPGs are cool, but when you add in hotpants, the RPG part of the game becomes totally overwhelmed.

Super Buu has a flawless outlook.

Its actually kind of the other way around. You generally dont have enough time to worry about the hotpants. The battles are too fast paced.

I want to get it, but I want to finish FFX first. I've had that game since I got the PS2 like a year or two ago, but the hell if I can be assed to complete it. The same happened with FF8 and 9.

FFIIX is actually my second favorite Final Fantasy game. First being 6, but that's neither here nor there.

There were a lot of complaints about that game, but I thought it was absolutely fantastic.

I'd like to have time to play every game that comes a-knockin', but other things dominate my time. Like Chubbs, College, and WoW.

I remember anticipating 8, playing the demo and thinking it was awesome. However, I never did get the junction system thing. I have it saved, I believe, right before the final boss. Same with 9. Totally stupid, I know. If I finish them, I'll make a whoopdedoo topic.

No, its not undecided. Square has said that, as of right now, there are no plans to remake FF7.

That doesn't mean it will never happen, but people shouldn't be holding their breath. Frankly, right now, I'm more interested in seeing the Vincent-centric FPS than a remake of FF7.

They pretty much said it wouldn't happen. They made the trailer to show off the graphics of the PS3 is all.
